This is the chapter when S starts to get better!

"I see a dreamer
Over there by the water
But I got no, but I got no
Kakorrhaphiophobia
I see a dreamer
And he's ripe for the slaughter
But I got no, but I got no
Kakorrhaphiophobia
Phobia, phobia, phobia, ow..."

It was nighttime. Akane was sitting on a chair in the woods nearby a pond. It had been a hour after Cherry had been executed, and she was waiting for Ibuki.

Just then, the guitarist arrived.

"Let's chat," said Akane.

Akane and Ibuki talked about their experiences in school. Each discovered that the other still remembered pretty much all the major parts of school.

Their conversation eventually turned to the question of which ice cream flavor was better: vanilla or chocolate.

After Ibuki had said that "chocolate is the best," Akane said "I heard that the kraken attacks tonight."

"Kraken?" asked Ibuki dubiously.

"It's this legendary creature who attacks boats and sinks them." explained Akane.

"I love legendary creatures," said Ibuki.

Suddenly, bubbles appeared on the surface of the pond's water.

"The kraken is appearing!" said Ibuki, excited.

"I can't wait!" said Akane.

A loud deep growl is heard from the water.

Akane and Ibuki look at each other.

"Huh... that doesn't sound like the kraken..." said Ibuki nervously.

A strange creature rose out of the water. It was tall and thin. It was almost human in form. But this was no human being. Caked in algae, it roared a second time.

"It's an algae monster!" screamed Ibuki.

Akane and Ibuki turned to run.

It was morning when they arrived at the mess hall.

Everyone was eating their breakfast.

"You won't believe what we saw last night!" Akane said.

"We saw a horrible beast!" said Ibuki. "It was tall and it was all covered in algae."

"An algae monster?" asked Ellen.

"That's a cool story idea!" said Maru as he wrote it down.

"Can I see it?" Ellen asked.

"Yes!" said Akane.

The monster from the night before, knowing it had been spotted, did not dare make its move lest it get caught before it could properly exact its vengeance. Everyone was going to pay, the monster knew, and the monster was going to make sure they would pay the price hard.

Akane and Ibuki led Ellen and the others to the pond nearby.

"I don't see any monster..." said Ellen with a camera around her neck.

Suddenly, bubbles appeared.

There was a noise, and then someone rose out of the water. Akane gasped and took a step backwards. "That's the monster we saw last night!" Ibuki exclaimed.

Ellen prepared to take the picture. "That's the monster you two saw last night!" She repeated the sentence with some minor changes.

"Who are you calling a monster, you disgusting bitch?!" said the monster in a robotic voice.

Akane and Ibuki knew that voice.

Keebo stood there, looking both angry and a bit embarrassed. He was covered from head to toe in green algae. There was not an inch of him that wasn't covered in algae. He looked like a robot version of the creature from the black lagoon.

"What happened to you?" asked Yoko, confused. "I thought you weren't here."

"Yes, but I came back! I swam through the pond. But it was full of horrible pond scum which is another word for algae. I got totally covered in it!" Kee said calmly, wiping algae from his face.

"How did you swim back here overnight with barely any food or rest?" asked Ibuki.

"That's not for you to know," said Kee.

They arrived at the mess hall.

"What happened to you?" asked Mono.

Akane told him that Kee had returned looking like a monster.

"I also found someone." said Mono, as he got a garbage bag.

He dumped it out and everyone gasped. Dawn was on the ground, dead. She was horribly mangled.

"What happened to her?" asked Keebo, sympathetically.

"She got mauled by a bear last night," said Mono.

"Yep. She didn't last in the woods for even a day."  Keebo said. "Serves her right!"

"You need to take a bath." said Mono. "To wash all that algae off."

So Keebo went into the bathroom, planning to take a bath to get the algae off.
