"I stand tall 'cause I know I'm a winner
You've met your match, yeah, I'm no beginner
No beginner
Gotta catch 'em all! I stand tall 'cause I know I'm a winner
Knock me down, I'll just get up again
You've met your match, yeah, I'm no beginner
Pokémon,
Pokémon,
Gotta catch 'em all! You've met your match, yeah, I'm no beginner
Pokémon,
Pokémon,
Gotta catch 'em all! I've got all my friends beside me
I'm keeping my eye on the ball
With the wisdom of years to guide me,
I'm gonna catch 'em all!"

The DR executions were cruel, demeaning, and gory. And because they weren't reused very often, they tended to become ever more baroque as time went on. And I'm here to rank them from quick and painless to harsh and insanely brutal.

This is DR EXECUTIONS: GRUESOME TO MOST GRUESOME.

But first the rules. I'm only counting interesting executions. So most of the trigger happy havoc executions, the third SDR2 execution and the execution in Chapter 6 of V3 won't be here.

First off, we're starting with the quick executions.

The first execution on our list is "Blast off Second Ignition!"

Now, dying how Kaito Momota died is not a satisfying thought. He was put in a rocket, which drilled into the earth, and was shot into space out of the other side of the earth. Now, can I just praise this execution? This execution is insane and cleverly thought out. The whole sequence is beautifully animated. So I'm probably being bias by putting this as the last one. Having Kaito die of his disease was where I drew the line at liking this execution. I'm placing him at the bottom of my list due to how quick it was.

Next, we have the original "Blast Off."

Now, there are two versions of this execution

Now, there are two versions of this execution. I watched the V3 version first, and I mentioned that above. The Jin version, on the other hand, is the one I watched recently. I saw someone online saying "it's very similar to Kaito's execution" and by "very similar" I mean it's just the same thing. However, Jin turned into a skeleton, something that our luminary of the stars didn't. So, while I have to keep it on the lower end of the list due to it just being Kaito's execution but without any of the elements that made it so insane, it does get a couple bonus 'gruesome' points.
