SDR2 had been a success, so a third game was quickly green-lit.
Let's meet who will be taking part in the new batch of mutual killings!
Naegi, the Lucky One. Naegi was born lucky. He knew he would die, though.
Akari, the Shrinking Violet. Not being much of a people person, Akari had pretty much given up hope before she arrived. Her plan was to get into an alliance, and then float her way to the finale.
Junko, the "Redeemed" Girl. Junko had seemingly redeemed herself since Trigger Happy Havoc. Being generally seen as an annoyance, Junko was doomed from the start, but she was absolutely convinced that she would get herself to the end.
Touko, the Yandere Bookworm. A sweet, shy, smart girl on the outside. On the inside, she was a yandere girl who was willing to do anything that would ensure that she would get together with her boyfriend and her safety.
Aoi, the Swimmer. Aoi was raised by her father since the day she was born, and only around girls. She never knew anything about boys, so when she had to compete on a death game where half the cast were boys, she was scared.
Sakaya, the Singing Sweetheart. Sakaya was completely heart broken when she had to compete on V3. She had never been around something so dark before, but she was willing to look on the bright side of her grim situation, and do anything she could to cheer everyone up around her.
