"Lost my faith and trust
You and I know gold don't turn to rust
I still swear that we can reign
Like the kings and queens of better yesterdays
Don't you know I've been burned
I've been burned I've been burned
You've seen me lose control
It's not worth it's not worth it's not worth
My soul
Turn your face towards the sun
Let the shadows fall behind you
Don't look back, just carry on
And the shadows will never find you..."

"Last time on V3... Naegi was dragged by Izuru who told him she was the mastermind! But her reign as the mastermind would not last for long. You see, she killed Aoi and she got executed. Who will become the ninth to die? And who is the true mastermind? Find out in V3!"

Juzo was crying at his table the day after his sister's execution.

Naegi came over to the table.

"Why are you so sad, Juzo?" asked the lucky student. "I've been thinking about my dead sister Izuru," said the nice twin. "Even though we were enemies, I was loyal to her even before this nightmare got started."

"You feel so vulnerable in this world," Naegi said. "I'm gonna make you a promise."

"What's that promise?" asked Juzo.

"To protect you," said Naegi. He then began to sing a song:

"Life's tough when you're scared and small
Still tough when you're big and taller
Wrong side of McGregor's wall
And suddenly your heart is like a tennis ball
Up and down and side to side
Surf so hard you'd think you'd died
No love for you
Life's rough when you feel confused
Still rough when you hear the news
That each day gotta pick and choose
The same old sides, the me's and you's
But don't be sad, you're welcome here
Even certain carnivores are in the clear
I promise you
Wind blows and heaven knows
That sun can turn to rain
There's nothing much to fear, though
Doors close and we all know
That love can turn to pain
So let's be each other's heroes
No gate, no wall could ever split us up
Our love's forever
No hate, no fear could ever keep us down
We'll stick together
Life's nice on a sunny day
French press and a plate o' hay
But some days can't escape the fray
Crazily careening like a bird of prey
This old house is never locked
Even Tiggy Winkers needn't need to knock
I promise you
Wind blows and heaven knows
That sun can turn to rain
There's nothing much to fear, though
Doors close, it's on the nose
But love can turn to pain
So let's be each other's heroes
No gate, no wall could ever split us up
Our love's forever
No hate, no fear could ever keep us down
We'll stick together
Wind blows and a rabbit knows
That sun can turn to rain
There's nothing much to fear, though
Doors close, it's on the nose
But love can turn to pain
So let's be each other's heroes
No gate, no wall could ever split us up
Our love's forever
No hate, no fear could ever keep us down
We'll stick together."

Mono then appeared.

"Last night, I went searching for my children! I didn't find the bodies of the Mono Cubs who died in Chapter 2 of V3 people. However, I found Junko!"

Mono then showed the students a bulging garbage bag. He dumped it out and everyone gasped.

Junko sat on the ground, covered from head to toe in soot, dirt, scratches, cobwebs and dust. Her clothes were all torn and ruined. She had a red tiara on her head, and her teeth were sharp as razors. Her eyes were now red, and they were not grey anymore. Her hair was disheveled. Everyone gawked at Junko.

"Guess who's the mastermind now?" Junko cried almost ferally.

"You?" asked Akari nervously.

"Bingo," cried Junko.

"What's happening?" asked Naegi, bewildered.

"Junko has apparently gone insane!" said Juzo.

"What happened to you?" asked Sakaya. "I thought Mono banished you from his school."

"Yes," said Junko. "He sent me to the horrible unused coal cellar. After spending 2 hours in there, I escaped, but that meant I had to through the abandoned rooms. So many sharp things! Mono found me, and he took me back!"

"So that's why you went insane," said Juzo, as he began to connect the dots. "You spent two hours in a dusty old coal cellar."

"Yes!" said Junko.

"That's a fate worse than death!" said Juzo.

"Yes!" Junko replied. It was almost as if Junko knew that being locked in a coal cellar for two hours was just as bad as dying.

"Juzo, I need you to make a deal." She said.

Juzo then was led into a dark room with Haka and Junko.

"You know how Haka loves to tell lies?" said Junko.

"Yes," said Juzo, remembering Haka's story about an alien who stole his burger once, only to give back the whole burger except the meat.

"What do you do with this?" Junko gave Juzo a hammer.

"I don't know." said Juzo, scared, but he was unaware of the fact he was being set up.

"You hit him so hard he dies." Junko replied, giving Juzo the hammer.

Scared, Juzo swung his hammer, only to hit Haka hard in the head, severing his spinal cord and instantly killing him.

Haka's head laid at this upside down angle. He looked like True Mimi from Super Paper Mario. Blood seeped from his eyes.

"No.." said Juzo. "You set me up!"

But the nice twin accidentally dropped the hammer on Junko's head.

The "redeemed" girl's blood splattered everywhere!

Junko's head had been hit so hard by the hammer that it had exploded.

Bits of bone and brain and gore had sprayed everywhere. "As a free spirit, I'd better leave," said Juzo as he wiped the mess that was once Junko's head off his face.

Two victims in chapter five?! This arc of the story is sure picking up a lot! 😁
