    An airhorn rang out from seemingly everywhere, startling Shannon awake and causing her to shoot upright out of bed with a scream.
    It also caused her to bump her head.
    "OW!" she yelled out, clutching at her forehead. She rolled onto her side, but that only caused her to fall off of the bed and onto the floor. Tangled in a heap of bed sheets, holding her head in pain and wishing it away to no effect, Shannon was vaguely aware that someone was saying something from somewhere, but she was still far too groggy to make out what was being said or who was saying it.
    Once the pain began to subside, she found herself slowly falling back to sleep on the spot, but the sound of heavy footsteps and another voice caused her to stay awake longer. Realizing that maybe she should be getting up, she rose and blinked. She tried rubbing out the sleep gunk that built up overnight, but it was like it was sticking around just to spite her. She squinted through it, and found herself staring at a pair of legs.
    Looking up, she saw Mary looking down at her with concerned confusion. "Hey, can you hear me?" she was saying.
    "Y-yeah," Shannon stammered, rising to her feet and nearly tripping over the bed sheets wrapped around them. "Sorry, I'm normally a heavy sleeper."
    "Fair enough, I guess," Mary said. "Uh, just to make sure, did you hear Mono just then?"
    That woke Shannon up.
    "He's just trolling with us." Mary said. "Can you get to know me better?"
    "Yes," said Shannon as she got up.
    ***
    After they had dressed, Mary led Shannon to the kitchen. 
    "Would you like some cupcakes?" Mary asked.
    "I'd like some cupcakes, thank you." said Shannon as she took one.
    She bit it.
    "I love to share my freshly made cupcakes with my friends!" said Mary.
    "Now would you like some apple juice?"
    "Thanks!" said Shannon as she took a carton and sipped it.

    After this, Shannon walked to Eleanor.
    "Hey, Eleanor. Mind if I show you something?" She asked.
    "Sure!" said Eleanor.
    Shannon then led Eleanor to the plane's special room.
    They were standing next to the open door when Shannon slipped.
    She accidentally knocked Eleanor out of the plane.
    Accidental murder?! This story is picking up a lot!
