Open Wounds

Somehow you found a way under my skin

Once inside, you showed no sign of letting go

I was so oblivious, you were a deadly sin

Hiding your true intentions below

Defenceless I was, exposed to your ways

As you silently tore open wounds

My body cried out in pain, a fire was set ablaze

Inflicting pain to my wounds, I was doomed

Ripping apart, I could finally see who you are

The source of my darkness, my pain

It was too late, you made me char

Making me wonder if I'll ever be sane

You can run away, leave me and go far

But I'll always remember you as a scar
