Your words replay in my mind, never ending

Emotions take over, I have no control

It comes so fast, my personality bending

As my old self begins to take its final stroll

Differences stake their claim, who am I?

Friends shy away, scared of what I've become

Alone in the dark, I collapse and cry

And to my surprise, help is offered by some

My reflection stares at me with foreign eyes

I want to runaway, this monster isn't me

I try to disconnect, wanting to take off this disguise

But to my dismay, I can't disconnect and it becomes harder to breathe

Through it all, you seem to be the most deranged

You shouldn't be after all, you caused this change
