Feelings, I want them gone, never to return

They make me connect to people I do not know

Once they start, they continue to burn

Until they reach an inferno, delivering one final blow

These people, once strangers, begin to attach

I pled to them, tell them not to come close

For I know that we are a fatal match

And just one spark, a fatal dose

Still you persist, not seeing the evil

As I smell death's breath on every word

I see what's next, a great upheaval

And soon your voice becomes unheard

From a distance, my true colors are not exposed

But come a little closer, and you'll see why you shouldn't get close
