"What?! Mire you lied about that?!"
He scoffed, "Not in the beginning.. I do everything for a reason.."
"What's the reason then?" You placed your hand on your hip and he rolled his eyes annoyed.
"To bring us closer of course. If you don't understand how then you just won't know, because I'm not explaining it to you"
"Fine!"

Your phone went off.
You and Mires eyes darted toward it, then back to each other. You both went for it and he grabbed it first.
"Well well.. looks like he's checking up on you darling~"
"W-Who?"
"Stop with that dumb act Y/n" Mire said your name showing his irritation as he read Brens message alloud.

"I haven't heard from you. Is everything okay? It's not like I ask just anybody this you know!"

"Seriously Y/n I'm worried, meet me where we usually meet tomorrow"

"Hello??? Shit I feel like I should've stayed"

Mire gave you a tired expression with his eyes piercing yours. A frown was plastered on his face. It seemed he was waiting for you to say something.

But you didn't know what to say.

"It's not what it looks like.."
"Oh I know sweetheart~ Because if it fucking was what it looked like, you wouldn't be standing here right now"
"Mire what do you mean?"
You boldly walked closer to him and gripped his sleeve. His attention wasn't on you though. Mire was looking to the side deep in thought. Most likely about what he would do.
"Mire.. are you mad at me?"
"No.." he sighed. "I was gonna kill him either way so it doesn't matter.."
"What?"

The question came out your mouth on its own. Mire looked at you with amusement and confusion.

"What do you mean what?" he teased.
"You can't.."
"I can and I will. Maybe I'll even get rid of Gina and Ivan while I'm at it.. shouldn't be too hard~"
You began to sweat and looked down. Chills went through your body and you felt like throwing up.
"And that other guy.. was it Ty?"
Mire smirked and was waiting for a reaction out of you.

You knew this but couldn't help it.

"No?" Mire let out fakingly shocked,
"I like the idea. Finally I'd have you to myself~"
"I don't want you too.." Your body jumped a bit as Mire began stroking the top of your head.
"I'll have you all to myself~"
"You already do!" You gritted your teeth and he let out a humored breath.
"Oh really? But he just said you guys meet somewhere.." He lifted your head aggressively.
You looked into his crazed eyes.
"Tell me where that is"

Your heart skipped a beat.
You didn't know what to say.
What should you reply? The truth?

"I don't want you to kill them.."
He frowned.
"What does it matter if they die? You still have me"
"I don't want you too!!" You gripped his shirt and looked up at him with teary eyes. Your out burst startled him and he looked away upset.
"I don't care.. It's for the best"
"I'll hate you forever if you do.." You smiled a bit as his body jerked at the words.
"I'm fine with that darling~ You can hate me all you'd like tied up in the basement~"

You realized Mire had the upper hand as usual. You truly didn't want him to kill your friends but he didn't care. He liked seeing you like this.
Desperately clinging to him.

"I'll run away"
"I'll find you"
"I'll kill you!" You spat and he rubbed your bottom lip.
"I don't mind..~"
Hot tears ran down your face but you didn't break the eye contact.
"I'll never talk to you again! I hate you Mire I mean it!"
Suddenly he gripped your jaw and covered your mouth.
He pushed you against the counter and you whined at the pain.
"You really do have such a mouth on you darling.."

You bit his hand and he let out a small laugh.
"That's cute~"
You bit it hard until it drew blood but he didn't move.
"Are you done?"
You just glared at him and looked away.
"If you're good, I might change my mind.."

You ignored him.
Mainly because he was covering your mouth but you didn't look at him.
"Look at me.."
His voice changed tone making you shiver but you refused to look at him.
Mire sighed.
"Why do you act like this?" Mire questioned tiredly and then brought his lips to your ear. "I think I know why though.. I'll fix it by tonight~"

He finally let go of your mouth and you gasped for air. He licked the wound on his hand and you grabbed your phone as he went upstairs.

You powered your phone off and peered up the stairs.
You didn't want to deal with Mire at the moment.
You walked out the back door and look up at the blue sky. It was beginning to get chilly.
It was the end of January after all and winter was coming late. You got goosebumps as the wind blew.

"You'll get sick.." Mire spoke but you didn't turn to him. "If you stand out in the cold like that"
"I don't care.."

You heard his footsteps come closer and stop behind you.
"Thank you.."
"For what?"
"I never told you how much I loved this scarf.." Mire rubbed your elbow from behind. "Don't laugh, but I slept with it beside me when I was gone"
You giggled.
"I said don't laugh!"
Mire pinched you and you both began laughing together.
When the laughing ceased, you both stood staring at each other.
The wind blew through you hair, making your scalp cold as it went to the side.

"I never thought this could be a reality Y/n. You don't understand how much you truly mean to me.."
He placed his hand on your cheek.
"I don't mean to pressure you, I truly don't. Although, I do like teasing you~" You smiled as he rubbed your bottom lip.
"Mire you can't kill them.." You sighed and his face became puzzled and conflicted.
"I can't?"
"No you can't"
"Why?" His voice was genuine but what really was he thinking?
"Because I don't want you too!"
You glared at him and eventually he broke eye contact. He scoffed and looked to the side.
"Alright darling. Just come inside, I don't want you to get sick.."
