Finally, we survived hell week! I was not exaggerating when I said how stressful graduating students were with tons of activities and requirements to submit. Nakapag-pasa na rin ako ng application for graduation. Less than two months from now would be the day of our graduation. Our most anticipated day.

Sa sobrang busy ko these past few days, madalang na lang kami mag-usap ni Lander. Every time na free siya, ako naman ay busy. Kapag free naman ako, siya itong maraming gagawin.

That's why we had decided to go on a date today. It's already been three weeks since we started dating and I still couldn't believe how I was able to have this guy. Madalas niyang sinasabing swerte siyang nakilala ako. But I think it's the other way around. I'm way luckier I got to meet him and have him as someone I could say mine. He's like a sparkling soul— my love and everything.

We strolled the mall and went to arcades. Kumain din kami pagkatapos ng lunch.

It was a wonderful day spent with him. Maaga akong natulog nang araw na iyon. Kinabukasan ay sinabi sa akin ni Lander na ipapakilala niya raw ako sa family kaya mabilis akong dinambahan ng kaba.

I made sure to dress nicely. I wore a pink puff dress and an inch sandal. I curled the ends of my hair and put on some light make-up. My brother asked me where I would go. He told me it looked like I was on a date. Obviously, I was. Ang sabi ko sa kanya ay oo.

"We? Seryoso ka ba, Ate?" Hindi makapaniwala niyang sabi.

"Oo nga," sabi ko habang naglalakad papuntang gate.

"Isususmbong kita kila Mommy," he replied.

"Then go. Sasabihin ko rin naman sa susunod."

Ngumisi siya. "Ay talaga mayro'n oh. Ipakilala mo 'yan, Ate. I told you before he better be deserving."

"I will, bro."

Lander told me he'd fetched me. Nando'n na raw siya sa pinagusapan naming hintayan.

I climbed inside his car as soon as I saw it. He gave me a peck on my lips.

"I love you," aniya.

Napangiti ako. "I love you too."

Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko habang ang isang kamay ay nasa sasakyan niya.

"Excited ka na ba?"

I glanced at him. "Hindi. Kinakabahan nga ako e."

"Why would you be? They're nice people."

"I know. S'yempre, I'll be meeting your family."

"No need to get nervous, okay? They won't bite. Promise."

I smiled at him.

He pulled the car over. Nasa tapat na kami ng kanilang bahay. Mas lalo akong kinabahan. I heaved a deep sigh. Lander gently held my hand to assure me.

"I'm just here, okay?"

I nodded at him. "I know, pero kasi..." I bit my lower lip. "What if I mess up?"

He chuckled. "You won't."

I made a face. "Sinasabi mo lang 'yan. Nakakahiya kasi."

He bent down to pinch my cheeks. "My girlfriend's so pretty. Even if you're worried like this, you always look gorgeous in my eyes."

I smiled after hearing him. He really knows how to swoon me over. Wala na!

"Stop worrying. Just be yourself. It'll be okay. They'll love you for sure," aniya saka kami lumabas mula sa kotse niya.
