I had a busy week. I tried all I could to get distracted. Tama na 'yung inamin ko na sa sarili ko na crush ko siya. It's not a big deal. Lilipas din dito.

"Thank you, Monica," Kia told me as I handed her the papers. I smiled at her then went back to my seat.

Whenever they ask me for errands, I volunteer. Hindi naman sa nagpapasikat ako para bigyan ng mataas na grade. I just wanted myself to keep busy.

"Photocopy this please," Maam Jia  went to me and placed the paper on my table.

"Okay po," I said then walked towards the xerox machine. After I was done, nagkayayaan naman kaming sabay sabay na kumain ng lunch.

"Why did you choose Journalism instead of pursuing Business?" Ma'am Jia asked while we were eating.

I turned to her before I spoke. "I really want to become a writer po."

"Hindi against parents mo ro'n?" Kia asked beside me.

I shook my head. "They're cool about it."

My parents didn't force me to do anything I never liked. Ever since I was a kid, they're so supportive of me and I couldn't be more grateful about that.

"Wow, that's cool!" Kia exclaimed then ate her food.

Nauna na sila sa office ang iba pa naming kasama at naiwan kami sa labas ni Kia. She was smoking and now she wasn't wearing her eyeglasses.

Honestly, she felt different than the usual.

"I haven't asked you this, but do you happen to know Warren?"

Binuga niya ang usok sa kanyang bibig bago tumingin sa akin. "Yeah, he's my ex."

I wasn't surprised actually. "Was it a bad break up then?"

"It's both consensual. He pursued his dream. Ako rin. Minsan nagsisisi ako bakit nangyari 'yung nangyari sa amin. Mahal naman namin isa't-isa pero hindi naman enough 'yon para magtagal sa relasyon. Naisip ko na lang, may purpose naman. I'm sure he's doing great. He loves travelling and doing something he's passionate about. Ako rin masaya ngayon."

Kuya Warren's also a vlogger. Most of the contents of his vlogs were about food and travels.

"Tara na," she said. I nodded then went back inside.

Kinabukasan ay nasa cafeteria na ako sa school kasama si Christoff at Angela. Arvee as usual was busy preparing for the upcoming events for the school and last year niya na rin as a Student Council so dobleng effort din siya. Minsan nga naiisip ko kung paano niya na-mamanage 'yung time niya.

"Nabalitaan n'yo na ba na may pumoporma kay Vee?" Napatingin kaming dalawa ng pinsan ko kay Christoff.

"Saan mo nalaman 'yan?"

"Narinig ko lang kanina. Pupuntahan ko sana si Arvee tapos narinig ko 'yung na may pumunta raw dito na taga Reevly. Hinahanap siya," anito. Sumubo siya ng fries. "Hindi ko siya naabutan kanina para itanong."

"Sino naman poporma ro'n?"

"Si Josh daw," he replied nonchalantly.

We both gasped in surprise. "Josh? 'Yung pinaka-matangkad na player sa Reevly? " Angela asked. Chrutiff nodded. "Grabe, taray ni Vee. I didn't expect that!"

I wasn't surprised actually. I'm sure Josh was the one who Arvee mentioned the last time we talked. So, siya 'yung guy na 'yung pumunta rito? Hindi ko kasi siya namukhaan nakaraan. Ang sabi ni Arvee sa sa akin hindi raw siya nakilala ng lalaki. I guess hindi na.
