"Inom pa, Mon. Let's get wasted!" She even raised her beer.
"Red horse pa talaga, ah?" pang-aasar ko. Pulang pula na ang mukha nito. Any minute by now, she would soon passs out.
"Mon, una na ako ah. Sorry. I have something to do." I looked at Neo.
"Sure. Ingats ka ha!"
"Yes, boss." He smiled. Sinamahan ko siya pababa. Nagpaalam din siya kila Mommy.
"Happy birthday. Did you enjoy your day?"
"Super!" sabi ko. He was still smiling.
"Happy for that," aniya. Kumaway ako sa kanya hanggang sa makasakay siya sa kotse niya bago tuluyang umalis.

Si Angela ay nakatulog ng lasing. It was already ten in the evening when I glanced the clock. Kinuha ko ang jacket ko bago bumaba. My mother was on the couch reading something so I went near to her.
"Mommy, labas lang po ako saglit," paalam ko.
"To where? Gabi na," anito.
"Saglit lang po talaga."
"Are you meeting a guy?"
"Mommy!"
"Alright. If it's a guy then, go."
Nanlaki ang mata ko. Seriously? Ngumiti siya. That was my cue to go out. Napapailing na lang ako sa mga magulang ko. They might even have a party of me if they found out I have a boyfriend. Ganyan sila ka-excited!
Namataan ko kaagad ang kotse niya. Kaagad akong pumasok sa loob.
"Seriously, why are you doing this? This is a low move, Lander," I told him.
"I'm sorry. I just want to see you," he replied. He was wearing a black round shirt. He was always dashing with black. Favorite color niya 'yon siguro. Ang cap niya ay nakasuot pabaliktad. Did I even say that he looked hot on that?
I looked away.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"Ikaw ba? Saan mo gusto mo?"
Bumalik ang tingin ko sa kanya, suddenly getting irritated. "You mean you asked to meet me and you don't know where we're off too?"
"Yeah," he drawled lazily. "I just want to see you." He repeated.
"I can't believe you," I muttered in disbelief.
"Sorry." He looked at me then flashed a smile. "Happy birthday."
