I was biting my lower lip, waiting for luck to happen. He might have changed his number. There's no way he wouldn't. What I did was absurd. I should've not done this anyway.

I was about to go back inside my office but I was surprised to see that I received a response from him. I didn't expect he would reply that instant! 

What the hell?

He didn't change his number?

Lander:
Farrah?

Monica:
Yeah. Are you available?

Lander:
You unblocked me?

Lander:
Why? Why do you want to see me?

Monica:
I asked you first.

Lander:
I won't answer unless you tell me why. It's just unusual for you to send me a message.

Monica:
I need you for something.

Lander:
What is it?

Monica:
Interview.

Lander:
What about it?

Lander:
Are you referring to Mr. Fernandez's case?

Monica:
Yeah. Are you up for it? My team will interview you. If you're not available, I'll just send you the questions in your email. We just need your statement.

Lander:
No.

Monica:
Why?

Lander:
I said no. I'm sorry.

Inis kong minasahe ang ulo ko. How could he just refuse when I was the one who messaged him? Kung hindi lang siya kailangan ay hindi ko gagawin 'to. We just need a few statements from him. That's just it. I believe it wasn't that hard to do.

"Wala pa ring response?" I asked Haidee. She told me that she sent an email to the firm

She shook her head. "No, Ma'am. But, we are still trying our luck po."

"Alright. Just let me know the progress," I told her.

"Ma'am, I'm sorry for being nosy. But, I stalked Attorney Lander's IG account."

I raised my brow. "And?"

"I noticed that he hasn't deleted your photos, Ma'am," she stated.

"What?"

She handed me her phone, and I angrily looked at the photos we had that he hadn't deleted. How could he? We broke up already, and everyone knew that. So, why keep the photos?

I rolled my eyes.

"Fan na fan ako ni Attorney, Ma'am. Sobrang big shot niya before sa UAAP season, at lahat nagulat dahil nag-pursue siya talaga ng law," aniya. "Tapos, kayo pa na naging girlfriend niya 'yung supervisor ko. Ang dami ngang nalungkot no'ng nag-break kayo, Ma'am."

"Go back to your work." I instructed her. She apologized and I just nodded.

Pakialam ko? Hindi ko rin naman tinatanong tungkol sa kanya. I almost wanted to rant out, because once again his name was mentioned.

Inis akong umupo at pinagpatuloy ang ginagawa.

Pero, kahit anong subok na alisin siya sa isip ay hindi ko magawa. I hated him for pestering my mind over again. And, I hated myself even more for letting him consume my system. I took out my phone inside my bag, and browsed my phone. An idea suddenly came to me. There's no harm in stalking him, right?

I forgot that I blocked him from all my social media accounts that's why I couldn't check it. I suddenly remembered that I had my other account way back in college on Twitter where I got to post everything I felt. There was a tweet there that made my heart clenched.
