Threat to the secret

After their conversation, Ty dropped the subject of telling the boys, and Kane was glad he did. They continued on this way for another couple of months when finally something happened that threatened his secret.

Ty had been in charge of acquiring Kane's blockers and suppressants. So, when Kane told him he was getting low, he made a note to get them refilled. The problem was that he had so many other things he needed to do as well, and it slipped further and further down on his to-do list.

Finally, Ty made it to the pharmacy. "There aren't any more refills," The pharmacy tech told him. Ty was freaking out, but he kept his cool and thanked the tech for his time before walking away. He called the doctor to schedule Kane an appointment to get his refills.

"Sorry, the soonest appointment we have is two weeks out. It's been getting hectic here lately," The doctor told him. Ty scheduled the soonest appointment he could and made his way home.

As he walked in, he was greeted by the boys. They were all doing their own things, mostly making tik toks. "Hey guys," he greeted. "Kane, I need to talk to you. Let's go to your room," He said, then went to Kane's room. Kane rolled his eyes at the various "ooo~'s" that sounded as he followed Ty to his room.

Once the door was closed, he looked at his brother expectantly. "You went to the pharmacy today, right?" Kane asked.

Ty nods. "But, they didn't have any refills. I scheduled the doctor's appointment, but it's nearly two weeks out. How much do you have left?" He asked.

Kane went pale. "I only have like three days' worth. I told you a while ago why didn't you go then? Did you do this on purpose?" Kane was upset, and he was lashing out.

Ty let it slide because he knew how upset his brother was. "I promise I wouldn't do this on purpose. It won't be too long, so maybe you will be fine." Ty said.

Kane nodded. "I hope so," he said. He was freaking out, and he didn't know what to do. What if he went into heat when he ran out? At least he still had his scent blockers.

Ty put his hand on Kane's shoulder. "I am here for you. I'll do whatever I can to help you keep your secret." He said.
