Moving?

Kane is a few months into the pregnancy now, and he is now in his 2nd trimester. He had already gone to the doctor and had his first scan, and he had received a picture from that which was now displayed on the fridge, even though you can't really see much. His second ultrasound was scheduled in a few weeks.

Kane was happy that his cramps had finally gone away for the most part, but he wasn't exactly glad that his back started to hurt more. He was getting bigger, and he had a baby bump now. Luckily it was still on the small side and could be hidden in videos, but time was running out, and he would need to decide on what to do very soon.

Kane always wanted to be with one of the alphas, but lucky for him Oliver and Regie were practically glued to his side anyway. Darren had become somewhat of a personal chef for Kane, and he made Kane whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted. Darren was glad to be able to help out during the pregnancy, so he didn't mind making things for Kane.

Kane sat in his nest in the living room, one of many nests that had been made throughout the house now that Kane's nesting instincts were going crazy. They were at their 9 am meeting, and Regie was in the nest with Kane. The nest wasn't big enough for more than just the two of them, so Oli sat outside it.

"Oliver, you stink. If you wanna cuddle with someone, you can come cuddle with me," Darren offered, wiggling his eyebrows and chuckling. Oliver rolled his eyes and ignored him.

"Darren is right, though. Your scent isn't exactly pleasant when you're pouting," Kane said. "Why don't you go sit with him? I may be your only pregnant pack member, but there are still lots of other people in our pack that want their leader's attention," Kane said, smiling.

Oliver thought about it for a second before he got up and sat next to Darren on the couch. Darren smiled, and he laid down, put his head on Oli's lap, and let his legs hang over the arm of the couch. Oli rolled his eyes but began to card his fingers through Darren's hair.

Ty came in and clapped his hands to get everyone's attention. "Ok, let's start the meeting. The first thing I want to discuss is moving. We were supposed to be moving, but since Kane's doctor is here, I think we should stay here until we can find a good doctor there or until after the baby comes," he says.

"We can move right after the baby comes. If we are going to move then, we should move soon, so that way we can start setting up the nursery in the new house," Ryan says. Justin nods in agreement.

"I like my doctor here. What if my new doctor isn't as good?" Kane says.

"I wouldn't get you a bad doctor," Ty assures him.

"I think that we should take a couple of days to think about this. Do we have a couple of days?" Oliver asks.

Ty nods. "A couple at the most, though," he informs them. They all nod and agree to get back to him soon, though Kane is the one who needs to do the most thinking.

With that out of the way, the meeting proceeds as normal.

Later that night, Kane was lying in his nest looking at the comments under their newest YouTube video while he waited for Regie to finish showering. He was mostly skimming over them until one caught his attention.

Kane has been wearing sweaters more lately, but it's getting warm these days.
