Outsider

As everyone adjusted to the change in dynamic, not much changed. The biggest change was Kane deciding not to take blockers or suppressants anymore. The other big change was that the members did tend to get a little more protective of Kane in public, but it wasn't too bad, so Kane didn't make a big deal out of it. He found it kind of nice, actually.

One day Kane went out with Ty to buy some props for his next youtube video. While they were out, they had been approached by a fan, and she was a young alpha. Of course, Kane hugged her and took a picture with her. When they had hugged, she had leaned her head on him, which ended with her accidentally scenting him when his shoulder brushed her scent glands.

Being young and having just presented recently, she still wasn't used to avoiding her scent glands. She apologized many times, and he assured her it was ok. She apologized once more before she walked off.

Kane didn't think too much of it and figured he would change when he got home and maybe ask Oliver to scent him so he would have pack scent on him instead. When he walked in the door, Regie was coming downstairs.

Regie frowned and came over. "You stink," He said. Kane chuckled and rolled his eyes. He usually would have teased him back, but he knew having an outsider's scent on him would be off-putting.

"It was an accident. I ran into a fan while I was out. She apologized a lot. I'll have Oliver scent me after I change." Kane explained.

"Why does it have to be him?" Regie asked. He hugged Kane around the waist and leaned down to his ear. "I can scent you. Make you smell like your mine." He whispered.

Having Regie that close affected Kane more than he would like to admit. He didn't want to seem like he was desperate for Regie to scent him, though, so he replied with a nonchalant, "As long as it's an alpha in the pack, I guess it doesn't have to be Oliver. Let's go up to my room so I can change, though."

Regie just smirked and let go of Kane. They both went to Kane's room. As Kane changed his clothes, he felt Regie's eyes on him the whole time. Before he got on the bed, he decided to ask, "SO, have you thought about us any?"

Regie nods and holds out his arms to Kane. "Let's give it a go. We can be boyfriends now, and we can talk about mating later on." He says, and Kane couldn't be happier.

He gets on the bed and Hugs Regie. They fall backward with Regie on his back and Kane now lying on his chest. They spent more time than necessary lying in Kane's bed scenting each other, but they didn't care.

That night when everyone was eating dinner, they decided to let the others know. "Hey, guys, me and Regie are dating now." Kane tried to say it as casually as possible. It wasn't a big deal, but he didn't want to make anyone think he was hiding things again, so he decided to tell them.

He didn't expect Darren to shout, "Called it!" and start collecting money from everyone, though. "What? You guys bet on this?!" Kane asked.

"Of course we bet on it, and I won. Justin thought you guys would get together before Kane's heat ended, and Seb didn't think you guys would get together at all," Darren said, happily looking at the money he had collected.

Regie rolled his eyes but chuckled at them. "I can't believe you guys... Well I can, but you know what I mean," Kane said.
