The Hidden Omega (NSB)

The talk

Kane's heat officially ended after the 6th day. They usually lasted at least a week and a half and the entire time was painful. He knew that having an alpha would help, but he didn't think it would help this much.

Now that his heat was over, he was back in his bedroom, getting ready for their morning meeting. This meeting was going to be about more than just business. He was nervous, but he knew they had to talk about it.

After everyone gathered, they finally started the meeting. "I think we should go ahead and have our pack discussion first." Oliver started. "So, Kane, is there anything you want to say?" He asked.

Kane still hadn't worked out what he wanted to say, but he knew he wanted to start with an apology. "I'm sorry that I didn't tell you guys. When I found out I was the only omega, I got nervous, so I hid it from you guys. I shouldn't have because I know you guys wouldn't have cared, but I just thought it would be easier if I weren't an omega." He explained.

"Do you trust us?" Sebastian asked.

Kane nodded. "Of course, I trust you guys. It really didn't have to do with anything you guys did. Ty told me to tell you guys, but it's already been months, and I didn't want to ruin our dynamic." He explained.

"Well, you didn't ruin anything. Sure the dynamic will change, but it isn't ruined, and I'm sure everyone will adjust soon." Oliver said. The other members agreed.

"I don't want you guys to treat me any differently. I still want to do the things we normally do, like wrestling." Kane says.

"Hey! I already knew you were an omega and didn't change how I treated you." Darren said. "Yeah, that won't change. Being an omega doesn't mean you are weak or fragile. I mean, Seb is an alpha, and he is skinner than you," Oliver says. "Hey!" Sebastian yells.

Kane smiles, glad that there is still normalcy. Then Manager Ty speaks up to move the meeting along. "I think it is time to move on to our plan for the day. Kane, you have a lot of filming to do to make up for the time you were in heat." He says.

Kane sighs, but he nods. "I know," He says.

Later that night, after he was done everything that he had to do for the day, Kane made his way to Regie's room. Now that he wasn't in heat, it was time for them to talk.

Regie wasn't surprised when Kane walked in. "Finally done catch up?" He asked. "Yeah, for the most part," Kane answered. "So, I guess we should talk about things," Regie said. Kane nodded."I don't mind being your heat partner," Regie said. Kane felt a tinge of disappointment but didn't let it show. Instead, he asked, "Is that all you want to be?"

"Well, I've never really thought about you as anything other than a friend before. I think I would need some time to think about it if you wanted to be more." Regie said.

"I never thought about you in that way either, but I spent the last couple days thinking, and I do want to be more, but if you don't, then it won't change anything. We will still be friends." Kane said.

Regie nods. "I think, for now, I just need time to think. I don't want to rush into a relationship and mess things up later on."

Kane understands where Regie is coming from and is glad that he is willing to consider it and reject him. "Ok, I get it," he says.

After their talk, Kane leaves the room, and he sees Oliver by his room. "Hey, did you need me?" He asks. Oliver turns around and faces him. "Oh, yeah, I was wondering if you would care if I scented you." He said.

Kane knew that as pack alpha, certain things would bug Oliver more than the others. Usually, when an omega presents or is introduced into a pack, they would be scented by the pack alpha or the head omega first. Kane hadn't spent any of his time with Oliver during his heat and had scented Regie first and Ryan second. He was only now realizing that Oliver had probably been bugged by this all week.

"Of course, I don't mind. Wanna go into my room?" He asked. When Oliver nodded, they both went inside and laid down. They scented each other and spent the time talking about nothing important. After the small scenting session, Oliver was feeling a lot more relaxed, and he ended up just sleeping in Kane's room that night.
