Chapter 19 "Into the heart of battles"

"Please!" shouted Sky as she pleaded her father to let her go to battle with everyone else.

"But what about Hel and Marina?" he asked roughly "Who will take care of them while you're gone"

"I'll find someone" said Skylar desperate.

"Sigyn-"

"Skylar" she hissed at the mention of her real name.

Her father sighed "Skylar" he said "You're being irresponsible as a parent, you can't just toss your children aside like such!"

"You did!" snapped Skylar angry as she stormed off to her room. She slammed shut her bed room doors and fell on her bed and screamed into a pillow. "UGH!" she shouted "WHY ME! OF ALL PEOPLE, WHY ME!"  She shoved her face further into the pillow as she felt like an animal, locked up in a cage, till her father might have use of her. She felt a cold hand on her shoulder which made her eye fly up in shock and terror. She jumped out of her bed and fell of the side, hitting her head on the nightstand "Ow" she groaned loudly.

Loki looked over the edge of the bed with an evil grin "Who knew you could jump that far"

Skylar looked up and glared at him "That was not nice, and....." she looked around the room as there was no way to get it "How did you get in here? I locked the door and my window won't open?"

"Magic" he said twirling his finger making a small green mist appear around his finger.

"Cool" said Skylar in awe at the little mist that was around his finger.

"But it's a secret and I can not teach you" he said with a light grin closing his eyes.

Skylar's eye brows rose as she looked at him "oh really" she said slowly reaching for a pillow "You don't or you can't teach me"

"I'm not trying to be rude" he said looking at her "I just don't feel like doing so right now"

Skylar whacked Loki over the head with the pillow and smiled "You’re not that great of a magician, if you were, you would have dodged that"

"If I did" he said "Then I couldn't do this" he said as he took her pillow and whacked her with it.

"Give it back!" she shouted.

"Nope" said Loki as he held the pillow up high so that she could not reach. She jumped up in the air trying to reach it. She frowned and glared at him.

"I hate being five ten" she hissed.

"Given up so soon?" he taunted.

"Nope" she said as she shoved him down onto the bed and pried the Pillow out of his hands. She sat on the bed, next to his chest once she had gotten it. She smiled and waved it in the air "So, I win?"

He rolled his eyes as he sat up. Skylar hugged the pillow and scooted next to Loki. He chuckled slightly "I used magic to open up your bedroom door" he joked.

"Your a-a.....never mind, it’s not even worth it anymore" she sighed as she frowned.

"I think you might have misused the words you like to call me as you call me them all day long" he said.

Skylar looked at him and smiled. He looked at her worried as that was never a good sign "but I can never misused Frosty"

"But that is offensive to me" he pointed out.

"Which is why I use it" she said "It annoys the crap out of you and I know that"

They both laughed at each other. Loki paused and looked into Skylar’s eyes. She turned and looked at him and all went silent in the room. Skylar titled her head just a bit. Loki moved closer to her and slowly put his cold hand on her cheek. He leaned in and Skylar closed her eyes as he did. When their lips were almost touching, Thor opened the doors and gasped with shock. Skylar and Loki fell off the bed looking at him in shock as well.

"Um......." Thor was speechless.

"I thought you locked the door behind you" growled Skylar.

Loki blushed with embarrassment and vanished from the room using magic spell to teleport himself.

"Um............." Thor was still in shock and stood there like a lost puppy.

"Well this is awkward....." murmured Skylar under her breath.

Thor slowly backed out of the room still in shock. Skylar sighed and once she finally figured out what almost happened, her eyes widened and she thought.....Oh....my....god......

Loki had teleported to his room and he hid himself in the corner. He too was shocked at what almost happed too. He held a pillow close to him as he rocked back and forth with nervousness. He got lost when he looked at her and thought of her as some one else instead of Skylar. Thor opened the doors shocked and shaken up. Loki hid himself in a magic veil that hid him from Thor's eyes. Thor sighed as he sat on Loki's bed.

"Brother" he called out in the room "I know your in here, come out and talk"

"No" whispered Loki.

Thor sighed "Now Loki, I want to talk to you"

"No" murmured Loki "I do what I want!"

"Now brother" Thor became suddenly serious. Loki knew that Thor was quite angry and he wanted to stay hidden from his brother as he feared his wrath of what ever he was angry about. Loki paused and took a few seconds for him to finally shown himself. Thor looked at his brother and padded the bed "Come Loki, Sit down"

"I want to stay in the corner" he murmured into the pillow hiding his face.

"Then I’ll come to you" said Thor as he walked over to the corner and sat down next to him "Now tell me, what did I see exactly when I walked in Sigyn's room?" Loki peeked up from the pillow and sighed. He murmured something that no one could make-out. Thor looked at his brother intense "Now Loki, stop murmuring and tell me"

"I don’t want to" said Loki into the pillow avoiding Thor's locked on serious gaze "Because i-i-i...." Loki's voice faded to silence as he became lost in thought.

"I what brother?" asked Thor serious "Tell me Loki"

"Because I didn't know what I was doing okay" said Loki frustrated "Neither of us did, we just though we weren't us, like-you know.....i-i-i....." he sighed, shoving his face in the pillow "I want to die now because of this" he whined.

"You will do no such thing" said Thor "Besides, I knew you liked her"

Loki lifted his face from the pillow and frowned "No I don't, I like her as a friend"

"Right" said Thor sarcastically "A 'Friend'."

"Shut up" hissed Loki "Its nothing, just.....friendship"

Thor sat up and stretched "Yeah, but for how long"

"I-I don't understand" said Loki.

"I've seen some mortal movies with Jane about two friends, like you and Sigyn, that eventually fall in love with each other and such" said Thor "It will only be a matter of time before-"

"You’re not helping" said Loki.

"I never said I was" smirked Thor. Loki glared at him intensely, Thor chuckled "I'm kidding, I’m kidding brother, but still.......you never know"

Loki hissed out an angry breath "Pft, yeah, I’ll kiss your girlfriend before I even get that intimate with Sky"

Thor backed out of the room "It’s your choice Brother, now come, we must arrange the warriors"

Loki sighed and walked over to Thor. He shot his brother an intense glare of warning "Tell anyone what I and Sigyn almost did and I will-"

"It's safe with me brother, now come..." said Thor.

OOOOOOOOOOO, SO how yall like that chappie? A little romantic but yet not, okay so i wil try to hurry and wrap up the story soon as i don't want it to go on forever, so yeah, okay so please comment(Please!) vote and fan!
