Chapter 21 "Strange Jane and Suspicions"

"Mama!" shouted Marina jumping on Skylar's bed up and down excited "Where are we going?!"

"To a dance...well preparing for one anyway" said Skylar as she dressed little Hela in a white and silver dress.

"Why are we preparing a dance?" asked Marina rolling around on the bed in her purple and silver lace dress.

"Because...that’s what princesses do..." said Skylar as she picked up Hela. Skylar had guessed she was around two months old by now, as she was starting to try to hold her head up by herself.

"But i want to-" Marina started to cough loud. Skylar glanced back to see Marina having a coughing attack. After a few seconds she stopped, gasping for air and put her hand on her chest as she tried to breath.

"Marina darling, are you okay?" asked Skylar.

Marina nodded and jumped off the bed "yep, I’m good"

Skylar was dressed in a dark blue and silver dress as they were to practice entering and such when the war had ended. But this didn't make any sense as why they were preparing now as the war wasn't close to being over yet. Strange things were happening; Jane seemed to disappear a lot and Giald too. She was planning on following them after their practice session at the ball room. Loki was going as he had nothing else better to do.

"Come on" said Skylar as she opened up the doors of her room and led Marina down the golden halls. They soon arrived into the ball room. Marina skipped in excited. Fallon ran up to her sister and looked at little Hela. Fallon hadn't seen the children yet and was well.....shocked. Loki showed up behind Skylar, not realizing it was her. He was busy talking to one of the guards of the palace.

"Skylar...i didn't know you have a daughter" said her sister shocked.

"Yes.....for about a while now...where were you?" asked Skylar.

"None of your business" hissed Fallon.

Loki started to walk by them and was caught at surprised at Skylar wearing a dress for once. After she turned six she stopped wearing dresses so this was a rare sight.

"Is it Loki's?" asked Fallon.

"What is?" asked Skylar and Loki at the same time confused.

"Is Loki the father?" asked Fallon.

"WHAT?! EWE! GROSS!" shouted Skylar as she wanted to slap her sister "you think-why would-gross"

Loki just looked horrified at Fallon's comment. Fallon giggled "I was joking, father told me everything"

"You’re a bitch" mumbled Skylar.

"So are you" said her sister.

Fallon walked off leaving Loki still in shock.

"Why would she think....you and i-"

"She's my sister, she's messed in the head like most of my family" said Skylar.

"Hi Mr. Loki" said Marina walking up to him "See my pretty dress" she said twirling.

"Um.......yes...it’s a dress.....that’s very....pretty" said Loki petrified to talk to little Marina

"Loki she’s not going to bite" Joked Skylar "She's just a child, what is there to be afraid of?" asked Skylar "Are you petrified to talk to a child now?"

"Yes" Nodded Loki "After your sisters comment.....i have the right to be" said Loki.

Skylar glared at him "Come on, she's a bitch and we all know it and would do anything to petrify you...though I’d never suspect it'd be children you were afraid of"
