Chapter 3 "It's too late to apologize"

Loki sighed. He was going to go to Midgard to ask for help. He stayed up all night deciding whether or not to betray Thor and Odin. But if all the realms are taken over, then He won't be able to have his own world. Loki thought it would be best to help Thor and Odin no matter how much he despised it, because he could take over Asgard right after, while the Elves are gone and Asgard is weak. He didn't like to sleep, at the most only four hours of sleep per night at the most. He saw that the sun had not yet risen. He sighed and walked out of his tent.

This is going to be the death of me, Thought Loki.

He felt Thor's hand on his shoulder. Loki looked up at his brother.

"Ready to go?" he asked.

Loki grunted. Not wanting to talk to Thor.

"Which realm are you going to try?" asked Thor trying to get a word out of his brother.

Loki paused and looked away.

"Midgard" he hissed in a low voice.

"Why Midgard?" asked Thor "Loki are you going to-"

"No Thor" said Loki "I have a friend that owes me a debt, she may be able to help up retrieve more warriors"

"A woman?" cooed Thor all lovey dovey.

"It's not like that" hissed Loki.

"Or is it brother" asked Thor.

"Shut up Thor" hissed Loki as he stood up and walked to a small cherry blossom tree near a small little pond.

Loki folded his arms. Why was Thor such a thorn in his side? He and this girl were friends, and just friends, why would he ever think that?!

Besides, having a woman is a waste of my time, i have no time to moon over a girl and worship at her feet, Thought Loki to himself.

Thor walked up to Loki and stood next to him.

"I'm sorry if i offended you brother" said Thor.

Loki chuckled to himself "Usually it's me pulling that with you"

Thor chuckled slightly "Oh yes, i remember"

Loki missed the times him and Thor would sit and talk all night. He did love his brother but was blinded by jealously and envy. Loki missed laughing alongside Thor for pranks he'd pull or jokes he'd crack. But that moment seemed to vanish quickly and things soon became awkward for them.

"Loki" said Thor breaking the silence "In Midgard, could you get Jane and Darcy?"

Loki looked at him confused "You mean the woman you swoon and moon over? Why?"

"She's a scientist and might help us" said Thor "If it's not too much trouble"

"What about Erik?" asked Loki "After all he did build that portal for me back in Midgard?"

"That’s because you forced him" joked Thor.

"True...."

"But, i don't want SHEILD to think you’re up to mischief again" said Thor.

"Yes, because i don't want to meet that monster again" said Loki as shivers crawled down his spin at the thought of the Hulk.

Thor chuckled "You do have to admit, that was pretty funny"

Loki rolled his eyes "In your mind it is"

"You should be going" said Thor.

"Right" said Loki as he smiled and walked past Thor.

"Loki"

"Yes Thor?"

"I'm sorry"

Loki turned around confused.

"For what?"

"For being a dumb ass idiot that caused you to be like this" said Thor "I never wanted us to be like this"

Loki sighed "Well it’s a little too late"

And with that, Loki left for Midgard. Thor's apology meant nothing as Loki was right, it was too late to apologize. Loki walked into the portal and was struck into Midgard with a flash of a rainbow light.....
