Knuckles is the new kid at Mushroom Hill College. He feels out of place just like any new kid would, but once he meets his dorm mate everything changes and his life will no longer be the same again.

I wake up smiling but alone in my dorm. Shadow is no where to be seen. Did I dream all of that? I wondered as I get up out of bed. I take a shower thinking about the kiss. I brushed my lips with the tips of my fingers. I get out and dry my self off before putting on my clothes for the day. I pull back my wet dreads so i don't get anything spit on them when I brush my teeth. As I bent down to spit out the mouth wash I felt arms wrapped around my waist. I look back up to see shadow smiling. He lays his chin on my shoulder. "Morning handsome~" he flirted. I smiled. It wasn't a dream! "Morning where were you?" I asked wiping my mouth with a cloth. "Had to meet up with Rouge for a morning snack if you know what I mean." He smiles flashing his fangs in the mirror. "Didn't want wake you because you looked so peaceful sleeping~" he said licking his lips. "Well since I didn't wake next to you I thought I dreamt it all." I smirked and stuck my tongue out. "Awwwww you missed me all ready~" he teased nibbling my neck. I let out a slight moan and grit my teeth when he nibbles a sweet spot on my neck just below jaw. He smiles knowing he found a good spot to tease me some more. I feel my face warming up. Before he can continue we get a knock on the door. He pulls away from me and i pouted before leaving the bathroom and lay on my bed to finish my assignment. At the door was a guy with dark brown hair, black mustache, blue eyes, and round face. He wore a red college hoodie with grey jeans and grey tennis shoes. He looked like Luigi but a bit shorter. "That must be Mario." I thought as he walked in. "Mario this is Knuckles" shadow introduced me. I got up and shook hands with him. "Nice to finally meet you my brother told me about you and how you spoke fluent Italian." He smiled. I chuckled. "Yeah it's nice to meet you as well". "Anyways I wanted to drop by and meet your dorm mate plus Peach is having a party at her castle later on around 7." "Ok we will be there man" shadow said. I gulp "a party!? Fuck me I'm not good around parties! I'm going to make a fool of myself and-" Knux!" Shadow snaps in my face bringing me back into reality. Mario had already left our dorm while I was busy freaking out in my mind. "You ok?" He asked. "I-I-I'm not good with parties..... I've never been the type to enjoy them..... that's why I never went to a bar on my 21st birthday.... I'm a loser I know..." I said as I look down gripping my hands tight as they shake on my legs. I feel Shadows hand lift up my chin making me look into his red eyes. "Look I'm not going to force you to go or anything but Peach throws good parties and you'll be with me the whole time." He said with a comforting gaze. I'll tell you what if you want to leave early I'll bring you back here. I promise you will have fun just think about it. Ok Knux?" He said giving me a kiss on my head. He lays back on his bed to finish his assignments as I sit there finishing mine.
