Mated to a Vampire (Knuxadow)

No time to waste

I run back to Daisy and Katherine who were wondering why knuckles wasn't with me. "Shadow what's wrong?!" Kat said. "Dark Gia has Knuckles we need to find that piece now!" I said with pure fear for Knuckles safety. Daisy called up the rest of our friends since now every second Knuckles is in danger. We decided to split up in two on each side of the college. I paired up with sonic since we are the fastest and can cover more ground. Tails hands each group a radio to keep in contact as we search.

The wind blows in my face as my feet barely touch the ground. I look over to see my blue friend searching the other side of the basement and I come to a halt at the end of the room. I look good deep and quick. We have been looking for days and this is the last place on campus it's had to be. My heart starts to break not knowing what Gia is doing to Knux. I feel my tears form as I lean on a old boiler. Tears fall on the floor I'm going to run out of time. The blood moon is in tomorrow and I'm scared my love is already gone. "SHADOW!" Sonic cried out. I feel his hand on my shoulder he sees my tears. "Your going to find him and he will be alright." He smiled that same old cocky smile. "Thanks Blue." I said wiping my eyes. "By the way is this what we are looking for?" He holds out a shiny red broken gem. I take out the half and it connects perfectly. I threw my arms around him and hug him tight. "Yes we finally found it! Thank you!" I said excited and run off.

I get back to the apartment to get everything prepared to fight Dark Gia. I throw the ruby pieces into my bag. Crash I jump up and turn around to see Knuckles standing there. I couldn't help myself I rushed over and kissed him so happy he's ok. I feel his kiss return pulling me closer to him. Suddenly I feel a sharp pain in my arm. I released his lips and stared into cold purple eyes. I look on my arm to see I been injected with a serum. I looked back into his eyes before everything goes dark.
