Healing and Cuddles: Donnie

It was not long after the foot attack maybe about a week, you still had a bandage over your thigh where you cut yourself on the glass trying to escape the factory, your love Donnie even had to stitch it up.

It still hurts but not as much as it used to...

You and Donnie were in his lab, he was looking for any signs of the foot and it seemed like they just vanished out of thin air..But you knew deep down they'd return.

They were like cockroaches afterall.
You looked at Donnies face.. He looked like he was pulling all nighters again, after what happened he's been trying to find them so he could have the rest behind bars.

You couldn't exactly blame him, it scared the shit out of him when he found out you were kidnapped..but you still worried about his health and wished he'd give himself a break.

Afterall it wasn't his fault you were kidnapped..

You tapped Donnies shoulder as he typed away on his keyboard and quietly spoke, "hey.." you said softly.

Donnie stopped typing and finally looked away from his monitor, you could see he had dark circles under his eyes.

"hey.." he said in a slightly tired tone.

You sighed and wrapped your arms around his neck gently to hug him.

"Could you please take a break? I worry about your health.." you admitted to him

He looked to the side at his monitor and looked at you most likely about to protest, but you cut him off.

"I know you want to catch them and I do too, but you're overworking yourself..Please take a break..please? For me?" You begged him.

He sighed as you gave him the puppy dog eyes, "alright fine I'll take a break I'm sorry I worried you.." he apologized to you.

You smiled in response, "It's okay you adorable dork~" you said happily and walked into the living room with him. Surprisingly Raph and Mikey weren't hogging up the couch per usual.

You both sat down at the couch, Donnie took the remote to the TV and started to change the channel to forensic files. Donnie seemed to like this show considering it was about catching bad guys and forensic science.

You didn't mind as long as he was beside you and not overworking himself. You snuggled up close to him and smiled up at him.

He smiled back and kissed your forehead, he even wrapped his arm around you.

You giggled and watched the show with him, you felt safe in his presence..

Nothing like cuddles to make a day better.
