Mutation Day: Donnie

It was the day, the very day. It was the day Donnie and his brothers were mutated and became who they were today, you smiled as you circled the date on your calender in your room with glee.

Then you ran downstairs to see if your parents left a message on the answering machine. You clicked the button the machine as it told you, you had one missed message. You heard your parents on the other in telling you they'd be late coming home and to just whip up something or order out tonight as they were swamped with work.

You smiled as you saw this as a perfect opportunity, you went into the kitchen and started to make a cake for donnie, a simple chocolate cake with some chocolate frosting. As you mixed the batter you put the cake mix into a cake pan and slid it into the oven to bake. Whilst that was baking you went upstairs and got ready for the little party you had planned for Donnie.

You wore a nice lavender dress with some white heels to go with it, did your hair all nice and neat, and even put on makeup for such an occasion.

Your brother thankfully was at a friends place anyways for a sleepover/ camp out in his friends yard so you and Donnie would have the whole place to yourselves.

You went back downstairs when you heard the oven ding and pulled the cake out of the oven using a pair of oven mitts and set the cake down to cool off before you put chocolate frosting on it otherwise it would jut melt off.

You finished off the cake and decorated it with some piped frosting letters in white frosting and stuck some candles in it for the birthday boy

You sent Donnie a text after setting the cake down on the coffee table and went to grab Donnie's presents from their hiding spot as your brother was the snooping type alongside your mother.

Then you sat down on the couch and waited for your favorite boy in green and purple to arrive.

You didn't have to wait for long thankfully as Donnie soon arrived right on the dot per usual as he was punctual.

You smiled as you heard Donnie climb through your window upstairs and made his way downstairs to the living room.

"Hello Donnie~" you greeted him happily in response.

He smiled and walked over to you, "For me?" He asked happily

"Well who else smarty pants?~" you said playfully to him and watched him sit down beside you.

He grinned as he looked to you, "Thanks Y/N I deeply appreciate this~" he said happily to you and kissed your cheek.

You smiled, "You're quite welcome~ Now go ahead.and blow out your candles and make a birthday wish birthday boy~" You said cheerfully to him

He smiled and gently blew out the candles and watched as you cut the cake with a cake knife, putting the cake piece on a paper plate.

You handed him the first slice, "Enjoy~" you said calmly to him as you got yourself a slice

He grinned, "Thanks~" he said politely and used one of the plastic forks to eat his cake that you had at the ready.

You started on your own cake and you both eventually finished eating.

He threw the paper plates away alongside the plastic eating utensils you both used. "The cake was delicious~ Thank you~" he complimented happily

You blushed a bit feeling bashful from the compliment, you looked away as you handed him a present. "Here Donnie~ You should open this one first~" you said calmly to him.

He smiled as he took the wrapped box from your hand and gently shook it a bit to try and listen for what was inside, it made a raddling sound of course as something solid was inside. "I wonder what it could be~" he said calmly as he started to unwrap it

It revealed some books about Dnd, custom made purple dice with a cool design, and some small dnd/skyrim themed figurines. "Wow I'll be sure to use these, and set these up in my bedroom~" he said cheerfully

You grinned, "I figured you'd like those~" you said happily and watched as he opened more presents you got for him, more books, a brand new laptop, his favorite poptarts, clothes, some new video games, mini fidget puzzles, and some colonge.

You made sure to spoil him as much as you could whenever you got the chance to.

He seemed joyful and grateful for all the gifts you got him, even a lil bashful as he felt humble as he felt you got him far too much. He even wanted to pay you for half of it atleast as he knew it must've cost a lot.

But you were firm and stood your ground, you assured him it was okay abd it was his birthday. His happiness was all but enough payment for you and that's all that mattered to you

He was relieved to hear it didn't hurt your wallet at all at the very least, you both cuddled with blankets and started watching some documentary on the tv together..
