Meeting the family: Donatello

Donatello was told to bring Y/N to the lair to speak with Splinter. He didn't just wanna bring her here and have her leave her brother behind ,but he didn't exactly have her phone number to tell her ahead of time..

He pondered and snapped his fingers getting an idea, "Ah ha!" He exclaimed and got to typing on his computer.

You were on your bed writing a book report on your laptop, Your brother (B/n) was fast asleep from binge watching cartoons.

Suddenly your screen started to bug out and go completely black with green letters scrolling across it.

"Ugh!!!" You groaned. "Not a virus, I had bought this a month ago!" You quietly exclaimed to yourself.

"Greetings Y/N!" Donatello's voice came through the laptop giving you a shock.

"Donnie?" You asked raising an eyebrow.

"I'm sorry to bother you so late in the night Y/N, but there's something I must ask for you to do." He continued.

You shut up and listened.

"If you could kindly meet up at the address I put across your screen, that would be lovely. Though I recommend asking someone to babysit your brother if necessary.." An address popped up on the screen as he said this, you wrote it down for safe measures.

"Of course please don't come with anyone, it's secret. Talk to you later!" His disappeared along with the black screen.

 Your book report was there, but it was already finished up for you, must of been Donatello.

You closed your laptop, and sneaked out your room and peered into your brothers room to check on him.

He was still asleep, so you went back to your room and got dressed to see Donatello.

You quickly went down the stairs without making the wood floor creak and quietly shut the door and locking it.

You looked at the paper you wrote the address on and looked for the address, then you finally found it. You peered into a nearby alleyway with an open manhole with the manhole cover beside it.

It had no traffic cones around it indicating it was moved by someone who had no authority to.

You walked into the alley way mostly cause you had a strong suspicion Donnie moved it.

Low and behold, Donnie jumped from the fire escape above behind you.

You step back a little startled.

He holds his hands out in defense and steps back.

"Sorry sorry, I'm glad you made it. I-I am hoping it wasn't any inconvenience for you?" He awkwardly said, adjusting his glasses.

"No not at all, my brothers a deep sleeper." You replied.

"I see." He nods in response.

"So, what's up Don?" You ask.

"Oh right, My father wants to meet you, in person." He holds his hands together.

"I see, but why?" You ask curiously.

"It's not a problem at all, he just wants to know if you're really a good person, and if you're interested he'll explain our origin story to you." He explained.

"Ah ok, I am very interested in that. So, where shall we go from here?" You asked.

"Ah..You might want to plug your nose.." He gestures the man hole.

You looked at him and at the manhole.

"Ohh...." You dreaded the thought of the ratchet smell.

"Yeah..." He could see the dread on your face.
