Forgiveness: Donnie

The next day finally rolled around, you waited for Donnie to come get you or shoot you a text since he was gonna do something special for you. As he wanted to make it up to you for accusing you of possibly cheating on him.

You felt special he wanted to do something special for you even after you forgave him.

You sat down in your office chair that was by your desk in your room, spinning in it sort of out of slight boredom as you waited. Then you heard it the chime of your phone and the vibrating in your pocket as your phone buzzed, you picked up your phone immediately and saw it was a message from Donnie.

💜Smarty-Pants💜 sent you a message:

💜Smarty-Pants💜: Hey Y/n! Just got everything sat up for you. I'll come pick you up in a jiffy!

You smiled at the dorky text message and shut your phone off, you climbed out your window and waited on the fire escape for Donatello to arrive and pick you up.

He arrived quickly just like he promised and scooped you up into his arms before you could even utter a word, "Wow!" You said in a surprised tone.

He chuckled had started jumping from roof to rooftop and finally arrived to a manhole with the manhole cover already moved to the side, "Ladies first~" he said politely and helped you down the manhole like a gentleman.

You giggled and started to walk towards the lair as Donnie followed down the ladder and closed the manhole behind him, he then caught up with you and started walking with you at the same pace.

"So I've decorated the lab for you~ I decided to make it up to you I'd make you dinner tonight." He said cheerfully, "Also I'd love to know if your project got graded yet~ I'm quite curious to know how well you scored." He added, it was something he'd ask usually.

You smiled, "sounds great to me~ And we got an A thankfully~" you answered him happily as you both arrived to the lair and made a bee line to the Lab.

He had a counter cleared off that usually had his gadgets and other things scattered on it.. However today it had a makeshift tablecloth over it, a lit candle,two chairs, and with silverware. Clearly this was the table they were gonna use to have their dinner together.

He politely pulled out a chair for you and pushed you in once you sat down, you smiled as brought over two plates of food it was your favorite dish, but it looked very fancy.

You looked delighted and looked impressed with Donnie, "Wow i'm impressed this looks amazing Donnie~ I could've sworn Mikey was the main chef of the lair.~" you mused.

Donnie smiled, "That is very true~ Mikey was kind enough to take time out of his day of video gaming to teach me the ways of cooking. After a lot of practice I must pat myself on the back as I have learned to somewhat master the art of cooking." He mused.

You chuckled at that and started to eat it, "Well it's very delicious." You told him honestly.

After a full hour of chatting, flirting, and eating you were both finally done,you watched as Donnie took the dishes to the kitchen and washed them pretty quickly.

Then he returned and helped you up from the chair and held your hand as you both walked out of the lair and back to the manhole.

Donnie opened the manhole cover and helped you up to the surface, he held your hands and looked into your eyes with a smile. "I hope you enjoyed our dinner tonight." He said cheerfully.

You smiled, "I sure did~ We should do it more often it was lovely." You responded and got a smile from him.

He then carried you home and dropped you off at your fire escape near your bedroom window so you didn't have to walk all the way home. But he had to leave of course so you could sleep in peace and so he wouldn't get spotted by anyone.

You watched him leave from your window before shutting it and closing the curtains. Tonight was great and it'll be just as great tomorrow..
