He's Jealous: Mikey

You were fully healed up now thankfully, you were finally able to walk without shots of pain in your leg. You felt joyful to be able to dance on your rooftop again! Not to mention you've started to develop confidence to dance in front of others...a sort of confidence high I guess.

You even signed up for a dance competition, but you needed a dance partner. You decided to look around town as street performers were very talented. You came across a man who was breakdancing on a sheet of cardboard for money, he had a crowd surrounding him either recording him or cheering him on whilst putting money in his jar.

Girls were even fawning over him as he was a pretty decent looking guy, well built too. But didn't even come close to comparing with Mikey of course~

You waited til he ended his performance and walked up to him. "Hey I see you're a great dancer and you seem to like money, so I'll try to make this quick. I wanna offer a proposition to you, to be my dance partner for a dance competition..and in return we can split the prize money if we win." You proposed to him.

He put his hand to his chin and jawline in thought, "hmmm alright, what could it hurt? And I could use the extra cash right now." He responded and shook your hand, "we have a deal then, we should practice at your house though.. mine's still a mess after my roomates party." He admitted.

You merely nodded in response, "alrighty then.~" you responded and gave him a piece of paper with your number and address on it, "Call me in case you can't make it to practice or something like that. And we should practice around 6 o clock." You told him.

He nodded and waved bye to you, you then walked back home and remembered you and Mikey were gonna hangout later, so you'd have to cancel you and Mikey's plans even though it hurt you to do so.

You sent Mikey a text that you have to cancel tonight's plans cause you'll be busy later..

Mikey seemed bummed about the canceled plans, but understood if you had to do something then you had to do it.

However he was curious on what you'd be busy with as you didn't have work for the day, April's out of town, and your parents don't really live nearby.

You kinda always came down to the lair as you didn't do a lot else, he was actually brainstorming about it.

He thought, well it wouldn't hurt to stop by to see what she's doing right? Or to just wait at her apartment.

And there it was that was gonna be his plan later.

Later that evening you waited for your new dance partner to arrive, once he arrived you buzzed him in and let him into your apartment.

He looked around and put his duffle bag down on the ground, pulling out a mat and rolled it out onto your floor, "there now we can practice properly." He stated calmly.

You nodded in response, "also there's water bottles in the fridge, and I bought pizza in case you got the munchies." You told him calmly. He smiled at that.

"Gee thanks!" He thanked you. He stood on the dance mat while you turned the stereo onto some music. He texted you some song ideas for your guys performance for the competition and you guys settled for one song, 'your fav song name here'.

Thankfully you both settled on your favorite song, you both started to practice a dance routine together. Unbeknownst to you Mikey had came over to see why you were so busy and he felt heartbroken by what he saw.

He kinda just stood there in slight shock and looked hurt, until he was spotted by your dance partner who gasped and looked shocked by what he was looking at.

You followed his gaze and saw Mikey, you were shocked that he just stood in the open like that and watched your dance partner faint and fall over onto the dance mat.

Mikey furrowed his brows and pointed at you, "who's this guy?" He asked in a stern tone. "Why is he here?...wait is this why you were soOoo buSy?" He asked in a hurt tone.

You were taken aback by the accusations and looked at the situation you were in, and yeah it looked pretty bad...
