You were taken aback by that question and stepped back even, "h-huh?" You asked him in a confused manner.

This seem to confirm it for him by your response, facial expression, and body language..he looked to the side and scoffed with a hint of frustration and hurt.

"So how long you've known eachother?" He asked you another question.

You were still confused what he was on about, "You mean C/n?...we've known eachother since we were kids, we've recently reconnected.." you answered.

Leo's eye twitched in annoyance, "well then, I guess you like him now?" He said calmly, "figures.. I should have seen this coming.." he stated.

You finally caught on to what he was on about, he thought you were cheating on him,"what? No! I don't like him." You protested.

Leo looked at you, "then why were you having a date at that café?" He pointed out.

You looked at him, "hey nothing was going on, he's not my boyfriend or anything." You stated, "he's-"

Leo interrupted you, "no I don't want to hear an excuse.." he stated in a hurt tone.

You felt hurt too he didn't even wanna hear you out, "leo..." you said softly.

Leo turned away from you and seemed to be wiping tears from his eyes, "just don't.." he said softly in response, he sounded as if he was holding back tears,

You started to tear up too, "leo please just listen to me, it's not what you think.. he's my cousin" you tried to tell him.

He didn't seem to believe you, he was so hurt at the thought of you cheating on him.. he didnt know whether to believe you or not. After all it was a misunderstanding... "Then how come you never mentioned him before? When we've talked about family?" He pointed out

You wiped your tears, "Because I haven't seen him since I was a child, his dad took custody of him when my aunt gave him up.. His family then wanted nothing to do with us so I thought he too didn't want anything to do with us." You explained. "Please believe me.." you begged him while choking back tears

He finally turned to look at you, "I don't know if I can believe you even if I wanted to..." he said sadly.

You needed proof somehow that it was true, but you couldn't think of anything at the moment. "Leo.." you said softly and sadly.

He turned away again, but before he did you saw a tear stream down his face, "I'm just hurt..Y/n." He told you sadly and went to his room.

You felt upset and knew he was just hurt and wasn't thinking straight at the moment. You then left the lair alone for the night thinking of a way to somehow prove to Leo you weren't lying and it was all just a misunderstanding..
