Olivia's POV

I can't believe I let my girls drag me out tonight. I've been staying with Julie and Cassie while I figure things out for the person I want to become. And I've pretty much avoided outside, as a result of that.

I'm not depressed or too hurt over the break up with Colson, but I am confused on what's next for me. I always believed that acting would come back full circle. But after my short conversation with Spencer a couple of weeks ago, I've been seriously considering journalism and choosing my passion for writing.

"Uh—- looks like the hood is out," Cassie says as she points across the crowded alley.

"That's why we should've stayed in the house," I say and Julie rolls her eyes.

"We've been cooped in the house for a week," she adds.

"That's because Olivia is too busy worried about when Colson and his weak ass PR team is going to drop that tweet saying he's single and his ex-girlfriend was nothing but a little hoe!" Ryan says and I pinch her.

"Really? Because I could've sworn our break up was because he cheated, again!" I tell her and she shrugs.

"Oh, yeah! I forgot! Our girl is a smooth operator. And she flipped it so good that he doesn't even suspect foul play on her behalf."

"Shit! As far as I'm concerned, she's innocent until proven guilty." Julie agrees with Cassie and they all share a laugh at my situation's expense.

I accept it and even silently chuckle at the fact that Colson has no idea about my 'thing' with Spencer.

But what's not funny is that I don't really know what it is that we have either.

"Lane three," the cashier tells us as she hands us those ugly ass bowling shoes none of us ever wear.

The girls walk slightly ahead of me as I attempt to set up a dinner date with my dad via text message. Because in true Billy Baker fashion, the start of his new movie has gotten in the way of our scheduled dinner dates. But I really need to talk to him about Colson and I. So I keep trying, despite the difficulty of working around his schedule.

"Wait girl, ain't that construction bae?" Ryan asks and I take my eyes off of my cell phone, long enough, to see Spencer hugged up with Yonni.

My heart drops at the fact that the first time I see Spencer in weeks is him hugged up with her.

"Ouch!" I say to myself as he and I lock eyes.

"Is that the girl he, supposedly, broke up with, for you? C'mon girl, fuck that nigga!" Ryan tells me as I watch Yonni walk away and begin to bowl.

I clear my throat as I adjust my voice in hopes it doesn't crack as I pretend that seeing Spencer with Yonni didn't just crush my heart, a little.

"That is him," Cassie says as she remembers him from the club, a while back.

"Just stop staring and let's bowl," I tell her.

"I don't know sis! Seemed like an innocent hug. I mean, judging by the cake, it has to be a birthday or something like that." Julie adds as we type our names onto the screen.

"Let's just bowl y'all!" I insist and Ryan claps.

"And let's order drinks too!"

Julie agrees with Ryan by loudly cheering and I sit with my back turned to where Spencer is standing.

We begin to enjoy ourselves, and for a second I forget Spencer is, just, six feet away every time he takes his bowl.

"Cassie!" We hear a guy's voice say from the lane behind us and I cringe. "What's up, Cass?"
