Spencer's POV

"Yeah, ma! I hear you!" I mouth. "I'm not giving up. I'm just thinking logically."

I peep over my shoulder as Olivia smiles at my annoyance.

"Yup! I hear you," I continue before feeling Olivia's hands begin to massage my neck. "I'm talking to my agent to see what's next. That's all I can do.—- Okay, bye ma! I have to go. Kiss Baby Elle for me."

I hang up quickly and toss my phone to the side as I enjoy my massage from Olivia.

"You okay?" She asks

"You okay?" She asks.

These past four months with Olivia as my girlfriend has been everything I could dream of, personally. But I can't say the same for my career.

I mean, I do have a decent movie under my belt. But after the fallout with Leah, the buzz of the movie pummeled.

Because, apparently, people don't really care to see a film about 'real friendship' from a cast of people who sling mud at each other, at the first disagreement.

"I just assumed things would get easier with the first movie under my belt."

"If it was easy, you wouldn't want it!" She says and it sounds like something I've said to her before.

"You're right, but it doesn't change the fact that I've been on twenty auditions and haven't gotten a call back."

"Have you talked to my dad?" She asks.

"You know we text often. But he can't hold my hand through Hollywood, babe! And I don't want another handout."

"Cut it out! You're being too hard on yourself. You weren't handed that first role. You took it. And I'll be damned if I let you sit here and say otherwise."

I smile because she's been my biggest supporter since we stood on that Improv stage just over a year ago.

"I know. But i'm just saying—-"

"Well, quit just saying," she mocks me in between kisses to my cheek.

"Anyway, it's somebody's birthday tomorrow. And I can't wait to celebrate it with you, after my audition in the morning." I tell her as I look up to see her smiling face and notice it turns into a slight frown. "What's wrong?"

"I forgot to tell you before you left for the gym this morning that Julie and Cassie are flying in so we can all spend my birthday together like we usually do," she says apologetically.

"Oh okay! Well we can do something before or after you go out with your girls!" I say, pretending it doesn't disrupt the plans I already made.

Julie and Cassie moved to Las Vegas about a month ago, so I know Olivia wants to spend time with them. She still hangs with Ryan from time to time, but between work and being the amazing girlfriend that she is, it's rare they link.
