Spencer James moves from the comfort of his own home to chase his dream of becoming an actor. Along the way, he meets people that will change his life; Some for the better. Others for the worse. It's all up to him to decide which is which.
"I'm not," I whisper as I hear Spencer fumbling around upstairs. "No! He doesn't know that I know.—- I won't! Unless you keep getting on my nerves about it!—- whatever bye!"
"You good?" Spencer asks as he yells down the stairs. "I'll be ready in a minute!"
"Bye, P!" I whisper again. But, this time, I decide to hang the phone up as I hear the floor creak.
I beam as I watch my handsome fiancée enter my view and down the spiral staircase in a black suit and freshly brushed hair.
"How are you going to leave the house looking this good?" I question him and he blushes.
It's nice to still have this effect on him after all of this time.
"Me? You're the one glowing! I'm just trying not to make you look bad!" He replies modestly, making me simper at his undeniable charm.
I watch him prepare for a few more minutes before feeling my phone vibrate.

I chuckle after reading it. Because I won't tell P, accidentally told. But I indeed have something up my sleeve for my husband— just for attempting to throw me a surprise baby shower, knowing I don't like surprises.
"I think I want to stop at McDonald's for a large fry and a Hi-C!" I mumble.
"I'm almost ready but we're not going to McDonald's," he tells me as I watch him check the clock for the fourth time in the past thirty minutes.
"Babe, would you be mad if me and the baby skipped this wrap party?" I ask as I rub my 22-week pregnant belly before making my way around to my lower back and pressing down on the spot that has been ailing me the past eight hours.
"No—- baby! C'mon! I really need you to be with me." He tells me in a whiny voice as he pauses on adjusting his tie and looks me into my eyes passionately. "Then, after this party, I promise we can stay in this house and watch trash tv for a month straight."
I feel his hand replace mine as he massages my pain away. "Okay! But only because I love you."
"Thank you, baby!" He says as he looks at me through the full-length mirror that's positioned in the corner of the freshly painted living room in our new Chino Hills home.
"Don't thank me yet! I'm changing out of this dress and into a nice pair of jeans," I mouth, smartly, and he kisses my cheek before I grab my bag to leave. "And I'm not wearing those heels anymore."
"No—- please baby! I'll carry your heels. But I really like you wearing this sexy ass dress. I really love this look on you." He begs and I smirk.
"Are you dressing me now? Because thanks to you and your baby, shit just doesn't fit the way it once did."
"Oh— now the baby is only mine? What happened to ours? He jokes before grabbing hold of my free hand and guiding me to the car in a hurry.
"Yes, any time this baby is doing something I don't like, I give you all of the credit!" I continue and he laughs as he opens the door for me to get inside.
