Olivia's POV

"We've been in here like thirty minutes, already. They're probably looking for us." Spencer says as  his fixes his pants and I wipe the lipstick off of his lips before we both check ourselves in the mirror.

I take a few deep breaths before he kisses my neck one last time.

"Spencer, wait!" I say and he shuts the garage door he had just opened. "I know what I want. And it seems very complicated to get right now. But if I go through with this, I need to know you know what you want too."

"Are you talking about Yonni?" He asks, knowing exactly who I am talking about.

"Yes! Yonni and every other girl you've been with before me."

"There are no other girls. I haven't spoken to Yonni in days. She's history." He responds sincerely. "In fact, I'm sure she can't stand my ass right now."

His reassurance helps, but in the end, I still have to face my truth with Colson by myself. Whether Spencer is ready or not.

We kiss one more time before walking out and heading back into the house. And I t's, surprisingly, quiet.

"Where the hell did they go?" Spencer asks as he looks around.

I open my phone when I see a message from Ryan.

I laugh as I read to the very end

I laugh as I read to the very end.

"They left," I say and Spencer looks confused.

"Together?" He asks. "Wait, please tell me your girl didn't kill my guy?"

I laugh hysterically and so does he. "She apparently has an appointment. And I owe her sushi for not telling her about you and me."

"But wait, how'd she know? Did they see us?" He asks in a panic. "And who the hell has an appointment at nine at night?"

"Ryan is a lot of things, but she's not dumb." I admit and he nods. "Plus, we didn't necessarily keep it very discreet. And as for the appointment, it's—- well— it's not with a doctor!"

"Oh you mean like taking me outside for thirty minutes?"

I smile against my own will. "Don't pretend like you didn't want me too."

"I would never pretend when it comes to you," he says honestly and I almost get lost in his beautiful brown eyes.

I breathe deeply as I shake my head. "Are you still hungry?"

"Yup!" He answers and I laugh. "Oh, you meant for food? No, I'm not."

"Wow, that was very American of you."

He chuckles at my sarcasm as he grabs my waist and we stare into each other's eyes.

This all feels so right to me. And it's scary because after years in the house, I've never felt as safe as I do right now.
