Olivia's POV

"Girl, did I mention the fact that you're glowing?" Julie shouts and the table erupts proud cheers. "And that love weight looks good on you."

"Are you calling me fat?" I ask and the table laughs.

"That's that 'fuck-boy-free-glow'," Cassie adds and I chuckle a little more before Ryan walks over with a bottle of wine.

"Did I hear the words 'fuck-boy-free'?" She asks. "I think I did! And for that, we celebrate!"

She pops the bottle and my girls shout excitedly.

"Toast," Julie says and we raise our glasses.

"This one is for our girl Liv! Cheers to dropping that dead weight of a man, starting your magazine, and finding your happiness—- all while keeping that chocolate drop, of yours, fed and satisfied!"

We tap glasses, once Ryan finishes her speech, and I sip in between smiles as I pull out my phone and text Spencer.

"Girl, put that away," Cassie tells me and I blush after reading his message

"Girl, put that away," Cassie tells me and I blush after reading his message.

"Y'all, can I be honest?" I ask and they sit up to listen.

"Spill it bitch!" Ryan jokes before happy tears begin to form in my eyes. "What the hell?"

I know they're thrown off, but I get really emotional thinking about how happy I've been these past months with Spencer, work and life in general.

"I've been so damn happy lately," I tell them. "I swear sometimes it doesn't even feel real."

My words must strike a nerve in Julie because her eyes start to water alongside Ryan, who hurries to grab the cloth napkin lying in her lap.

"Aww— I'm so happy for you, baby girl!" Cassie says before leaning to hug me.

"You got me in here fogging up my Prada shades dammit," Ryan adds before we're interrupted by our waitress.

"Chateau Lafite Rothschild 2018, for the table."

"Ugh uh! Wrong table. Ain't nobody order that expensive ass wine. Take that back please." Ryan says dismissively and I look at our waitress and chuckle at her mistake. "Matter of fact, by the time I get back from the bathroom, this needs to be gone. That old ass wine gives me a headache any damn way."

I shake my head at Ryan's tacky response as I watch her get up and prance towards the bathroom.

"Now that I agree with," Julie states before following Ryan.

"Yeah, ain't nobody paying a thousand dollars for no nasty ass wine," Cassie mumbles before she walks to the bathroom as well.

"Where the hell are y'all going?" I ask and only Cassie hears me because the rest are too far gone.
