Sungjae was momentarily stunned, as though he had just received a severe blow. He eyed Jennie sharply as if she was some sort of vixen. "Brother, this woman looks like a scheming, sly person. You want to chase me out of the house because of her?"

Lisa replied, "Haven't you been chased out already?"

Sungjae was speechless...

Jennie was speechless...

Why was she suddenly pitying his younger brother?

Sungjae fired his canon at Jennie again. "What did you do to my brother?"

Jennie let out a helpless sigh. "You must be mistaken... I have nothing to do with your brother... You can treat me like a stranger..."

Indeed, there was nothing between them. She had merely barged into his room at night and stalked him to his ward like a pervert with evil intentions.
Jennie felt her conscience pricking her when she said that.

Apparently, Sungjae didn't believe her either. "I would have to be a fool to believe you!"

"Sungjae, stop it."

Just as Jennie was rendered speechless, Rowoon strode in.

Jennie felt like a gust of spring breeze had entered. Her eyes sparkled brightly.

The moment Sungjae saw Rowoon, he erupted in rage. "Second Brother! Aren't you going to do something? Are you going to watch as Big Brother embarks on the wrong path? Do you know that Big Brother banned me from going home because of this woman?"

Rowoon looked helpless. "Weren't you the one who wanted to leave home?"

This was a double attack...

Sungjae was speechless...

He had received strikes from both his brothers, thus becoming overcome with grievances. He vowed in a fit of anger, "I, Sungjae Manoban, would rather die of hunger on the streets or jump off the windows than address you as my sister-in-law!"

Jennie felt that she needed to clarify this situation. "Hold on... Young man... I really don't intend to become your sister-in-law..."

Sungjae hissed, "You don't wish to be my first sister-in-law? In that case, are you trying to be my second sister-in-law?"

Jennie was speechless!

Young man, I'm advising you to be kinder!

Basically, any fan would fantasize about their idol becoming their husband. Jennie was no exception.

Thus, when Sungjae mentioned that perhaps she wanted to become his second sister-in-law, she was hit by a pang of guilt.

Jennie was mulling over his question when she accidentally caught a glimpse of Lisa. He seemed to be studying her at the same time.

Jennie panicked and averted her eyes guiltily.

Why did she feel like she had been caught?

Sungjae couldn't listen to anyone right now. He slammed the door on his way out.

"Miss Kim, I'm so sorry. Sungjae didn't mean it." Rowoon consoled her.

Jennie, who was overwhelmed by his consolation, waved her hands. "It's fine, it's fine. Ahem, my reputation isn't that good anyway..."

"Oh yeah, I didn't have the time to congratulate you. Welcome to the 'Meeting One's Match' production," said Rowoon.

Jennie was utterly bewildered. "What? I am a part of... 'Meeting One's Match?"
