When Lisa asked her which room she wanted, Jennie's cheeks turned crimson instantly. She didn't have any ulterior or lewd motives!

He stopped teasing her and said, "Your room has been prepared for you. It's the guest room next to the master bedroom."

She heaved a huge sigh of relief. "Okay, great! Thank you, Mr. Manoban!"

Lisa led her in the direction of the guest room while Sungjae fretted as he watched them.

He had been yearning and hoping for them to pick up speed! Finally, now that they had, how could they brake?

Sungjae, who couldn't hold himself back any longer, scrambled after Jennie. In a hushed voice, he whispered into her ear, "Big Sister-In-Law, I noticed that you like those ornaments, and I'm guessing that you're afraid of ghosts! Let me tell you that a man's vital energy drives those spirits and ghosts away! It's more effective than any other weapon!"

The corners of Jennie's mouth twitched quietly...

Lisa could drive spirits away?

Given his looks, he should attract more spirits instead!

How would she dare stay in the same room as Lisa ? What if that other consciousness seized this chance to do something to him? Wouldn't she be an eternal sinner?

She would be at a disadvantage as well!

Every time, she had to be blamed for something she hadn't done...

Jennie replied, looking composed, "You are thinking too much. I'm not afraid of ghosts at all. Those things are merely decoration. I use them to make my room more unique and classy!"

"Then... If you want your room to be more unique and classy, why would you need those ornaments? You should just place my brother inside! Then, it would be the classiest, most unique room ever!" Sungjae sounded as though he was a salesman.

...

Lisa led Jennie to her new room. When they reached it, she stood outside the entrance and peered in.

The entire room was decorated in pastel colors and looked clean, comfortable, and simple. All the necessities had been prepared as well, so she wouldn't need anything else.

Lisa told her, "If you need anything, just let me know."

"It's fine! This is very good. I don't need anything else! Thank you, Mr. Manoban! I just need to unpack my belongings!" She answered hurriedly.

She surveyed the spacious, beautiful room before shooting a glance at the man. She recalled almost ending up on the streets just months ago. Everything felt like a dream right now.

She had journeyed from hell to heaven...

Suddenly, she felt that the other 'perverted' consciousness, who had caused her to put on an act with Lisa to save her life, wasn't entirely out to harm her...

"You can unpack first. Call me if you need me. I will go prepare dinner," said Lisa.

He wanted to... cook?

There was a loud resounding slam as something fell to the floor...

Jennie felt as though she had fallen from heaven and landed back in hell...

"Oh yeah! Big Brother, Big Sister-In-Law! Something urgent came up! You know Old Wang who's in my team, right? He had a car accident, so I have to visit him right now! I shall get a move on. You don't have to see me out! Bye-bye!" Sungjae reacted swiftly.

Jennie grabbed him and hissed menacingly, "Are you leaving your daddy in the lurch?"

Sungjae looked as though he was close to tears. "Daddy, I would rather suffer a beating from my brother than endure his cooking. I can't do it!"
