"Racing car... Money?"

Jennie looked flabbergasted by Sungjae's remarks. Hadn't his Big Brother cut him off financially? Plus, he claimed that all his money had been invested into his team. Where would he get the money?

Of course, that wasn't even the point! Most importantly, he wanted to give an expensive gift to that imposter!

How could he do that?

Sungjae could offer his body, but he could never give gifts or money!

Sensing that something was wrong with Jennie, Sungjae asked, "Sister-in-law, what's wrong?"

Jennie, who was jolted back to reality by Sungjae's voice, inhaled deeply to compose herself. "Do you think you have plenty of money to spare? Didn't you say that your Big Brother has cut you off financially?"

He grinned slyly before he answered, "He did cut me off... And the team is losing money. However, I have some secret savings that will be sufficient to get the gift. Sister-in-law, why did you ask if I have money to spare? The gift is for Yeva, the Race Track's Grim Reaper! Besides, everyone who is attending the dinner is busy choosing gifts! How could I not buy anything?"

Jennie cast a disdainful look at him. She was right here, yet he hadn't gotten anything for her. Instead, he was racking his brains trying to think of an expensive gift for the imposter.

"Sister-in-law, I can't think of anything. Help me!" Sungjae wailed.

"I think there's no need." Jennie contemplated this for some time before she smiled at him. "Look, Yeva must have seen and have everything she needs. You have to demonstrate how unique you are for Yeva to remember you."

"Huh?" Sungjae looked startled.

Demonstrate how unique he was?

He would love to. But how could he do that to make the Race Track's Grim Reaper remember him?

"Think carefully. Everyone else is buying her expensive gifts. If you don't, it would mean that you're special and unique. If I were her, I would remember you for life. I swear!" Jennie peered at him solemnly.

"Sister-in-law, stop joking. I'm being serious right now. I don't want her to remember me that way." Sungjae sighed heavily.

"Are you bent on getting her a gift?" Jennie frowned as she surveyed Sungjae.

He nodded hurriedly. "Certainly! I want something special and classy... Something meaningful that will leave a deep impression!"

Jennie looked slightly helpless. Why was this kid so obstinate?

She narrowed her eyes and asked, "Do you... trust me?"

"Sister-in-law, is that even a question? Of course, I do," He answered promptly.

"In that case, you don't have to crack your head over the gift. I will help you take care of it. It will be meaningful, classy, and definitely precious," Jennie said solemnly.

"Really?" Sungjae's eyes sparkled gratefully.

He wasn't that good at choosing gifts. He had never really bought anything for his ex-girlfriends.

"Don't worry. Leave it to me. Just return me the money for the gift." Jennie nodded at him.

"I'm relieved." He heaved a sigh of relief.

"Oh yeah!" Sungjae, who had stood up to leave, suddenly turned around once more. "Sister-in-law, the private dinner is in three days. Several top racers from our country will be swapping pointers with Yeva. I got a seat for you too, so we can watch it together."
