Kim Byunghun was also excited when he saw Lisa. However, he had no hope of talking to someone like Lisa unless someone were to introduce him.

He had attended a function with Lisa before, and that was enough for him to boast.

Today, all he aimed was to make his presence known to Lisa.

When Lisa's eyes darted to Yang Baishong, they gleamed like glaciers. However, this gleam vanished swiftly as though it had been an illusion.

"President Yang, it's nice to meet you." Lisa managed a tiny smile.

Yang Baishong snapped to his senses when he heard him.

His eyes must have been playing tricks on him...

Yang Baishong had no idea that Lisa was so approachable. He had incredibly responded to him. He was filled with hope and delight as he began to rattle on about the project.

Byunghun observed how Yang Baishong was chatting with Lisa and became even more adamant about cementing the marriage.

He would force Jennie to apologize and coax Yang Baishong later!

Lisa merely sat quietly as he listened, looking expressionless.

Rowoon continued to drink his tea while Jennie was wiping her perspiration off her face.

Rowoon seemed to have informed Lisa about the incident earlier on, yet there wasn't any indication that he was seething with fury.

Could this be the calm before the storm?

Perhaps she was overthinking. A man like Lisa must have encountered storms of all kinds. Why would he flare up over such a tiny matter?

In the room, everyone was occupied with their own thoughts.

"President Manoban, in that case, I shall not disturb you any longer. I hope that we can work with you and clinch that project! I didn't manage to prepare anything today. If there is a chance, I would like to invite you to my place and welcome you properly..." Yang Baishong was already hinting at an opportunity to meet Lisa privately.
