Chapter 9 - Drama Next Door From Mandalore

The long trip to the other outer rim concludes for Rey at least with a drop-by. She stays the night at one of the busiest parts of the galaxy arriving in a sun-setting evening very quick to change into night or was it traveling fast across the planet that did the trick? The Jedi is here trying to seek information and answers and check up on what's happening at the planet or planetary neighborhood.

She is about to bunker into a mid-ground level parking bay or station unlike the lower ones at Canto Blight.... However she is told to use the VIP or special open deck parking bay where guards and security and onlookers in a small crowd wait in the futuristic multi-platform city. She makes her way out moderately. BB8 slowly behind her as she looks back as smiling faces accompany the droid and she looks back and is giving an encouraging throw in body language for the druid to trust a few people around... Eventually getting a seat in a hall.

She also attends a great hall after as everyone claps and cheers for Rey. There is a small slideshow presentation. There are some news and updates and one very important one: a few squadrons recently came across unknown enemies and on one occasion a heavy loss and rumors of force handlers were spoken of in the interview of a nervous surviving member of a fleet. 

"Ehhh we had to retrieve! ... Orbs and heavy fire and we felt it's only a matter of seconds before our ships could be gunned down".

Continued footage: after images show lots of vessels being shot at near land and dark bulky Clone War style druids looking slightly stronger and a little xenomorph-like whilst being completely robot it seemed. There was one zoom in that looked like an arm and moving red lightsaber going through a small defense team as they fell to the ground. That arm and lightsaber quickly disappeared it seemed. Then fast forward 10-15 minutes later a large invisible craft seems to turns visible and flies away.

Rey at the front seat rises and gives a speech:

"We will continue to figure out a plan or course of action. I know a few great people who can help. General Poe Daemaron is one very useful companion and friend and I will be ready to fight whatever the dark side of the force throws.

I do wonder if we have any new light force users that may be of interest too?"

The room looks quiet after cheers had erupted during her speech. One person then says something.

"There is one man but my team will hopefully trace him back. He did briefly visit the other side of the planet very very recently I've heard... Something strange about him"

Rey looks puzzled.

"Well I hope our paths meet because we will need some assistance!"

The hall zooms out with Rey standing, a lively crowd with BB8 in one of the front chairs sitting and looking quite lively itself though it is a strange position.

The night turns darker and back into day...

The next day there is apparently trouble at the nearby planet of Concord Dawn as Rey was walking through the sunlit platforms of a capital-style Mandalore city. Men run to her to give news of 'we have trouble' and they rush to a planetary HQ deck and look on the radar of a nearby planet as Rey inquires.

"Is it safe for entry now?" ...

Rey tries to make her way there in local interstellar space.

In the meantime, there is real drama and the allies do not know how much of the enemy was around as they suffer some heavy losses above the planet before it turns quiet.

Another supplies assault near an urban factory premises. Rey reaches there, lands quick and slowly moves forward. Enemies shoot down security near a ripped-out door as forces head to a craft. Rey can see a vessel not more than 100 meters away first invisible to her then a bubble outline then she could see it's visibility emerge through the power of the force but she rushes towards an elder pale gentleman with a slight glow.

She noticed all the troops that were behind him with some druids carrying heavy stuff on a rectangular platform above their heads were back into a spacecraft from the small numerous groups. She comes face to face with a tall pale entity with a bluish-white wavering smoke or something of that sort. Pretty much almost a ghost. A dialog between the two characters from Rey to the ghost commander:

"Right you need to stop there. STOP immediately!!!"

"Who are you, little girl? I am Florian Phantelhos the Ghost Commander. You are in for a big ..."

"A big fight? I know I'm ready."

"YOU! Are in! For a Big Fright !!!"

She gets into a lightsaber fight with what seems to be a ghost commander - a Sith force-handler. A darkish blue lightsaber a little reminiscent of the dark saber. The man starts very fast. Maybe even faster than training battles with Scholl then she gains control of the battle. Like-for-like defensive clashes of blades then she switches creative fight modes and notices her lightsaber on multiple occasions goes through the old half-ghost-like entity making him weaker and she has changed battle-style not to go too deep if possible because at one moment she was stunned the person was still alive and had to regain sense of the situation and defend from another strike. A lot of arm movement and a few ducking jerks from Rey still commanding the fight.

She slowly worries her lightsaber might fail her or is the blade slightly smaller or corrupted but she doesn't think the opponent is notcing it. Eventually, the ghost-commander is overwhelmed after three or four body strikes and falls on the floor with half-bruises and some dark smoke discharge. He looks like he is ready to die...

The cyborg or xeno-droids (looking like a cross between xenomorphs and clone war clone druids) now out from the craft in a small group (around half a dozen) tell her to stop pointing their guns at her but one of the druids first presses a button on a little black box that seems to project healing attributes to the ghost commander by shining a white ray looking similar to a light projection in a cinema or old-style cinema but a thicker white beam in this case. They try shooting Rey but she force blocks all shots as the enemies retreat back in their crafts and fly off.

She looks back in rage and tries to reignite her lightsaber whilst watching the ship. As the spacecraft flies off she begins to notice her lightsaber had weakened and blade was shortened.

"What just happened?

That man. That lightsaber...

This lightsaber...

I need to do something about this!"

Her words as she looks at a lightsaber blade looking like it's trying to shrink and flickers contracting in a battle with itself expanding simultaneously.
