It started with encouraging cheek kisses before maxi challenges and walking the runway or lip syncing, but now it's turning into something more.
Kerri is a woman, therefore I have no problem writing this. This is honestly kinda just an experimental one-shot to see how I like writing them together.

It started as a joke, a flirty little kiss to Maddy's cheek right before she had to lip sync. Kerri had giggled when seeing the queen blush and her eyes widen in surprise. She found it adorable, and couldn't ignore the flutter in her heart when Maddy had smiled because of her.

After the lip sync and June's elimination, Kerri had just gotten dressed when feeling soft lips brush against her cheek. She jumped and turned to see Maddy smugly walking away from her, glancing over her shoulder and giving Kerri a playful wink. Kerri blushed and was glad none of the others had seemed to notice.

The next time Kerri had been spontaneous, not holding herself back as she pressed a quick kiss to Maddy's cheek before she could finish her makeup. She smiled when seeing her look of surprise in the mirror, poking her shoulder. "Good luck."

Maddy shook her head, trying to ignore her flustered feeling as she grabbed a makeup brush. "You too-"

Kerri gave her a small hug from behind before going to her own station, and that's when Maddy realized that this was going to be a game now. And she didn't at all mind playing along. Which is why she was so sad to see Kerri in the bottom. She was definitely not ready to lose the little connection starting to form.

She could tell Kerri was nervous as she walked up behind her during Untucked. Maddy put a hand on her back, kissing her cheek softly so she wouldn't leave any lipstick behind. "You look beautiful."

Kerri managed a smile after that kiss and comment. "I wish that was enough to keep me out of the bottom." She turned around to face her, holding her arms out shyly. "Hugs?"

Maddy smiled and carefully wrapped her arms around the taller queen, feeling like a spark had been ignited inside of her. Kerri held on tightly as she rested her head on Maddy's shoulder. She found herself not wanting to let go.

But she had to when the producers gave them the five minute call. She hesitantly pulled away and looked down at the floor, returning to being nervous until Maddy placed a gentle hand to her cheek.

"Hey, it's alright." Her voice was sweet as Kerri looked up to meet her eyes. Maddy gave her a small smile, placing another feather light kiss to her other cheek and took her hand. "You're going to do great."

Kerri squeezed Maddy's hand as she let her lead her back to the mainstage. Once again, her heart fluttered.

It had started to escalate after that. Now whenever cameras weren't focused on them or the other queens weren't paying attention, it had become a quiet competition to see who could give each other the most kisses everyday. They were both almost certain the other queens had started catching on, but if they had they didn't say anything.

Just to be sure they were still secretive about it all, they sat a little farther away from each other during Untucked that day. But that didn't stop the playful glimmer in Maddy's eyes when Kerri looked over at her.

"I was worried when I saw you pull out that green dress." Maddy said as she fixed the giant cloud on top of her head, looking over at Kerri. "I thought you'd be in the bottom."

Kerri was silent, raising a brow. If Maddy kept that up, she wouldn't be getting anymore kisses today.

"But." Maddy continued before Kerri could say anything. "Then I saw you pull everything else out, and watched how it all came together, and it's one of my favorite runways tonight."

Kerri felt her heart skip a beat as she started to smile. "Thank you." She said with a small giggle, gazing at Maddy as best as she could through all the strings of beads hanging in the other queen's face.

When Maddy had taken it off for a bit before they had to be back onstage, Kerri took her chance. She walked up beside her, eyeing her cheek. "You should've been in the top today."

"You think so?" Maddy said as she fixed some of the fluff on the cloud. She had the same plan as Kerri, but knew she had to be fast if she wanted to score the kiss first.

"I do." Kerri said softly. She smiled before quickly leaning down to kiss her cheek, eyes widening when coming in contact with Maddy's lips instead.

Right as Maddy had turned her head to kiss Kerri's cheek is when the taller queen had done the exact same, resulting in their lips meeting in the middle. They both pulled away in shock, faces red under their makeup.

"Uh...oops-" Maddy said quickly as she placed the cloud back on her head, hoping Kerri couldn't tell how flustered she was. "Sorry-"

"It's fine..." Kerri raised her hand to her lips, trying to remember exactly how Maddy's had felt against hers. "Perfectly fine."

Maddy gave her a nervous smile, taking her hand and squeezing it gently before heading back to the mainstage.

Later, Kerri couldn't stop thinking about it. She laid on her hotel room bed and stared up at the ceiling. She had thought about kissing Maddy for real a couple times, but she hadn't actually expected it to happen. At least not in that way. She traced her finger over her bottom lip once more before sighing, pulling herself up. She grabbed her key card and headed to the door, but just as she opened it she was met by Maddy who had reached her hand out to knock.

Maddy stared up at her, the blush on her cheeks now noticeable without all the makeup. "Oh-"

They both didn't have to say anything to know why Maddy was here. Kerri immediately pulled her inside and kissed her lips again, this time on purpose. She hummed in approval when Maddy kissed back and laid her hands on Kerri's hips, pulling her closer so they were chest to chest.

After a couple minutes of Maddy pressing Kerri's back against the wall and her lifting a leg over Maddy's hip as they kissed, they pulled away, breath fanning against each other's faces as they caught it.

"...I guess we should've seen that coming huh?" Maddy joked, a finger tracing over Kerri's jaw.

Kerri smiled, leaning into the touch. "I guess so." She leaned back in, kissing Maddy's lips once more.

I don't hate this. If you like it let me know so I can be sure to write more of them in the future.

The Project Part 2 will be out in a couple days, and Tension Part 2 will be out as soon as I can actually sit down and focus on writing it.
