Gingerbread and Mistletoe (Maddy Morphosis x Jasmine Kennedie)

It's Jasmine and Maddy's first holiday season together as a couple, and Jasmine is determined to make it the best.

Jasmine groaned softly when her alarm went off, until remembering why she had set it in the first place. She turned it off and smiled as she turned over to face her partner, snuggling closer under the blankets. "Maddy~"

Maddy mumbled sleepily in response, her arms tightening around Jasmine's waist as she kept her eyes closed. Jasmine huffed softly, hooking a leg over her waist and using it to pull herself up onto her hips.

"Madeline Morphosis open your eyes-" She pouted, shaking her with her hands on her chest. "We have a busy day."

It was Maddy's turn to groan. She pulled Jasmine down onto her, tugging the blankets up closer around them. "It's so early, Jas. Too early..." She mumbled. "And cold."

"It's 9am, babycakes." Jasmine huffed, but gave in to her cuddles as she pressed a kiss to her forehead. "We have gingerbread houses to make."

Maddy just held her tighter in an effort to get her to stay in bed with her. "We can go to the store and get some premade ones to put together." She protested, her eyes still cclosed as she placed lazy kisses against her girlfriend's skin. "That'll be easier."

"But not as fun." Jasmine kept trying to convince her, forcing herself not to give in to how comfortable she was in her arms. "I looked up a recipe to make the gingerbread and everything."

"Well now I'm just terrified the house is going to burn down." Maddy teased, earning another pout from Jasmine.

"Fine." She pecked Maddy's cheek before pulling herself out of her arms and blankets and off of the bed. "I'll prove to you that I can do it."

She grabbed one of Maddy's sweaters and pulled it on before heading down to their kitchen, determined to prove to her partner that she can and would make the gingerbread on her own. All without burning the house down. She had cute plans for how she wanted to decorate it, and if she had to, she would drag Maddy out of bed for that part.

But luckily, she wouldn't have to attempt that. Maddy pulled herself out of bed, unable to fall back to sleep without Jasmine beside her. She rubbed her eyes as she walked into the kitchen, finding Jasmine quickly mixing things together at the counter. She wrapped her arms around her girlfriend's waist from behind, sleepily laying her head over her shoulder.

Jasmine smiled, kissing her temple as she worked. "Decided to join your hot housewife after all?"

"Someone has to make sure nothing catches on fire." Maddy said, gently pulling her back against her chest.

Jasmine huffed, turning around to face her and poking her chest with the measuring cup in her hand. "May I remind you about the time you and Daya-"

Maddy quickly silenced her with a kiss to her lips. "We don't talk about that." She said, a blush on her face as she was reminded about the event her girlfriend had brought up.

Jasmine giggled, stealing one more kiss before she turned back around to continue working. "I have somewhere cute for us to go tonight."

Maddy raised a brow, letting go of her to get the cookie cutters she was going to need. "Where?" She asked, knowing it was going to have something to do with Christmas. Jasmine was determined to do whatever festive thing she could find.

Jasmine opened the oven before giving her an innocent smile. "A Christmas light maze..." She said hopefully. "Would that be okay?"

Maddy couldn't help but smile. She found Jasmine's want to do cute couple things for the holidays adorable. So she nodded, leaning over to peck her cheek. "That'd be great, baby."
