Students piled into the classroom, as the bell rang to symbolize the start of class. Wes took a seat behind Natalie, then starting chucking spitballs at her. Across the crowded room, filled with emerald green drapes, Sagittaria conjured a pure white dove made from paper, and it drifted across the room, then out the window.
"Think I can hit the back of Gali's head from back here?" Wes said, turning his head to Blake.
"Nah," he replied, as the spitball flew slicing through the air into Gali's long hair.
Gali pounced out of her seat, "What was that for?" Wes and Blake laughed until a large door at the back of the room blew open, startling everyone. A man with long, silk, emerald robes grasping into him, strode up to the front of the classroom.
It was the man from the Great Hall last night.
"Hello, as you may or not know, I am Professor Frostwind," he said as he scribbled his name across the squeaky black board.
"Please open your books to page 247, we'll be learning about How Muggles depend on Electricity."
"I hate Muggle Studies," Kassie groaned to Scott.
"It's not my favourite," Scott said, flipping through the pages in his book like a maniac.
Halfway through the class, Professor Frostwind was interrupted by a witch in dark green robes, and a crooked hat with a feather hiding her green wavy hair tangled behind her. Professor Magatha Gaunt marched to the front, with a determined look on her face. She whispered softly into his ear, and he nodded, looking confused of what was going on. Professor Gaunt left the classroom in one swift, and the pitter-patter of feet could be hear travelling down the large, windy, marble staircase.
"Uh..." Frostwind started, "everyone done with the work?"
Later that day...
Scott was stuffed from dinner in the Great Hall, feeling not so well.
"I'm going to go for a walk," he said.
"Aye, alright," Kassie said.
Scott wandered out of the Great Hall, up the Grand Staircase, and onto the seventh floor. He passed several torches, glowing gloomily in the moonlight travelling through the window.
CRUNCH.
To Scott's left, a giant Phoenix Statue was turning left, it's wings spread soaring through the air. A spiral staircase rotating upwards, following the Phoenix. Being curious, Scott scampered up the stairs, worrying about what might be at the top. The floor above, was dressed with a long, maroon carpet, that slid against the floor a few feet. Scott turned a rigid corner, and a dark oak door stood blocking the rest of the way. A shiny Hogwarts Crest was hung as a "knocker" on the middle of the door. He pushed the door a sliver open, hearing voices lurking behind it.
"What shall we do? Nothing can be done right now," Professor Peverell stated. It seemed as though the whole staff of the school were there, gathered together for some sort of meeting.
A soft voice began filling the void of silence, "we must raise the defences of Hogwarts if this is true." A woman with blue eyes, stood in the centre of the room, her cheek bones were illuminated by the fire beside her.
"Do they deserve to know? To know that's He's back?" Professor Gregorovitch said, turning to pick up a book titled, "Hogwarts, a History."
"The time will come, now, is not it," Droobledore said, twisting his beard.
"He, is back, I say to all, stay cautious of where you wander."
