Droobledore's POV

I withdrew my wand, holding it in front of my head. I sync, we swiftly struck our wands down to symbolize the start of the duel. Immediately, jinxes and curses were thrown at me, including the Killing Curse. The sizzling jinxes leaped off of my shimmering shield, but I had to slide to the left to dodge the curse. Dantriomir was pure evil, full of dark magic that I could barely shield myself from. But I had the sword, the sword of Gryffindor, which could deflect any dark magic.
"Crucio!" Dantriomir shouted, curving his wand down on me. A surge of pain snapped within me, as if though one thousand sharp burning knives were being pressed on the inside trying to escape my body. It was unbearable, and I huddled on the ground, catching my breath.
"Not so strong, are you?" Dantriomir taunted, laughing. I pushed myself up, regaining my strength. Everything felt slow, the sword I held sliced through the air cutting Dantriomir's wand arm off. It fell to the cold ground, melting into it almost as though it was ash. Dantriomir stared at me, then crumpled down like his arm.
"NO!"
I heard a woman scream, then footsteps trotting towards me.
"Rictumsempra!"
I twisted through the air, then falling down harshly on my back, winding me. I tried to recap my breath, then lurched upwards. It was Raindelia, the previous Head of Ravenclaw, now turned Deatheater.
"My husband," she said softly, tearing up. She waved her wand in a circle around her head and sapphire coloured flames expelled out from the tip, burning my lower body. Wisps of smoke floated off of me, and the sound of Apparation filled my ear. I moved my head only to see the Dark Lord and Dark Mistress gone, followed by disappearing Deatheaters. I felt a soft cold hand touch my face, startling me; it was Allison, my wife. She looked pale, and terrified. Alex and her helped me up to my feet, and dragged me to the hospital wing. My lower half burned, and the pain was unbearable.

Kassie's POV

I was now with Dantriomir, my step father. Since I was adopted, I now lived in the large Manor with Ellie, my step-sister. Of course, I was scared for what came next. We all saw what happened, Dantriomir was wounded.
"Father?" Ellie said, holding his one arm.
"Ergh..." he moaned, rolling onto his side.
"Darling, you can't do that!" Raindelia said, pushing him back over.
"Just- can you two please leave this to me?" Raindelia said, tossing Ellie and I out of the room. The hallway was long and dark, filled with heads of previous house elf's and family paintings. Cobwebs were not a rare sight in this house, nor spiders.
"Uh- I picked out a room for you..." Ellie said, putting her hand on the railing of the stairs.
"Oh, let's go take a look." We scaled the steep dark oak stairs, which creaked every step. The manor had at least four floors that stretched over the size of a small field. It was very dark and musky; the dust made me sneeze constantly. I followed Ellie to the third floor, and we passed her room. Beside her, a black door (party chipped), said my name on it.
"Kassandra's Room," I read out loud. I gently brushed the door open, and beneath the door it was glorious. Slytherin banners aligned the wall, giving off bright greens that danced across the room. A large queen-sized bed was plopped down in the middle, which looked very comfortable. I had a gigantic window, that let in sunlight if I wanted it, or I could close the black velvet curtains to shelter me from the sun.
"Ellie, this is beautiful..." I said, sliding my hand against the polished dresser.
"Yeah, mother prepared it for you."
On the bookshelf, there were pictures of Ellie and I, all my friends, and my years at Hogwarts. I looked at a large picture of Ellie and I, which was us in our first year at Hogwarts. I examined the other frames, Scott and I hugging, Natalina and I making faces, and then I saw it. It was Dayved and I at the Yule Ball... Chills surged up my spine, making me pale and cold.
"Kas? You alright?"
I walked towards Ellie, then pushed her out the door. I twisted the lock, and fell back on the bed.
"I'm sorry, I need some time alone," I said, tears pouring out my eyes.
"Oh, alright... If you need anything, I'm here for you."
I heard footsteps head down the stairs, then one floor underneath me. I needed a walk, so I unlocked the door. I left my room and explored the house.

Eventually, I came across Dantriomir and Raindelia's room, which was full of creepy items. They had a Vanishing Cabinet. Their bed was super big, making mine look like a cockroach. I still had tears pouring out my eyes, but I just wiped them away. The most peculiar thing in the room, was a small stone that sat on the dresser. Holding it in my hands, it began to rotate around my palm. It startled me, and I fell back into the ground. The stone didn't fall with me, it stayed airborne, twisting in the air. A bright light flashed in front of me, floating around the room. It stood in the centre, regrowing into a body. The legs formed, then the head. This was shocking, and I was terrified. A glowing boy stood in the centre of the room. He wasn't fully human, meaning he didn't have flesh. It was just fragments of him, almost like a ghost.
"Da-Dayved..."
