Gali's POV
He locked the door, placing a locking charm very difficult to unlock. Sounds of spells and curses filled the hallways, followed by howling.
Dantriomir stared at me, with a determined grin on his face. Lowering his drink, he spoke in a deep voice.
"Come back, come back and join us," he said.
"I left because this is the organization that got my father killed!" I yelled, struggling in the chair. The door behind him thumped every time a spell was cast.
"We will provide for you, help you, and take you in as our family," Dantriomir said, with welcoming arms.
Thoughts crossed my mind if I was back with them, me walking through the hallway with my old friends. Dantriomir snapped open the cuffs on my chair, freeing me.
"What's your decision?" he said. There was not much for me back at Hogwarts, but what if it was my friends in the corridor at this very moment, trying to free me. Hogwarts is the place were Natalina was killed, Blake and Dayved, my friends lifeless.
I struggled the words out, "I'll c-come back, I'm with yo-you from now on," I said, gulping.
He grinned, then held out a hand to help me get out of the chair. Within seconds, the strong door that acted as a barrier was thrown down, blown open by a powerful spell.
"Gali!" Scott said, "we have to go, now!"
He ran down the corridor, reflecting curses and hexes with his wand, sending them back at the caster or off to a wall beside him. Zedmir was at the end of the dark hallway, shooting sparks at those who came barreling towards him. Scott halted at the end, looking back at me.
"Gali, run!"
I turned to look at Dantriomir, who was laying on the floor, winded from the falling door.
"Go, find out as many secrets as possible," he mumbled, catching his breath. I nodded, then dashed down the hallway, past the flickering torches. Curses and spells flew over me, blowing my hair in my face. I reached out for Scott's hand, and we twisted around the spot. I watched as the hallway became less and less, shrinking into a void.*CRACK*
We hit the ground with a sudden thud, and all I could see was trees getting larger and growing in height. The snow was cold, but soft. The trees began to shape to normal, followed by a large thin spooky house.
"Ugh," I said, pushing myself onto my feet. I hated Apparating, it always made me sick. Before my eyes, stood the Shrieking Shack, in its full spookiness. Zedmir and Scott were bow on their feet, running towards me.
"Gali, are you alright?" Scott said, with a worried face.
"Yeah, just a little shaken up," I said, lying to his face.
"Did they hurt you?" Zedmir said.
"No, I woke up with a bad headache, probably from falling off my broom," I said. How long could I keep this up? I can't lie forever, certainly not to them. What would I do?Alan's POV
It was the Easter holidays, and Scott, Sagittaria, Stelth, Bubbleina and Dusk were in Diagon Alley, looking in the shops to purchase items. Stelth, Dusk and Scott left us to go to Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes, a joke shop that wasn't my favourite. Later, they met up with us, holding seven bags of items.
"Got some Darkness Powder," Scott said, grinning.
"What on earth will you ever use that for?" Sagittaria said, folding her arms.
"I have something in mine," he said with a menacing smirk.
"We got to go withdraw some Galleons and Sickles from Gringotts," Bubbleina said.
"Oh, we have to too!" Sagittaria said, dragging Stelth behind her. I stayed in the back with Dusk, talking about his favourite subject: Philosophy. The path in Diagon Alley was rough, and hard on the feet, but it was worth walking upon to see the shops.
"Zedmir!" Scott said, running over to the window of the Quidditch Supplies Shop.
"Hey, I just came to get a new broom!" Zedmir said, looking at a brand new and polished FireBolt. Zedmir joined us, and headed towards Gringotts. At the end of the alley was Gringotts, towering over the shops, looking like it was about to topple over. The halls made of gold and granite were glimmering because of the enormous chandelier, drooping down from the ceiling. The goblin at the front helped me with my withdraw, while the others had to go get other items from their vaults, which were below the bank. Everyone left except Zedmir and I,
waiting patiently.
"I'm not sure we've met?" Zedmir said, shaking my hand.
"I know who you are, but I'm Alan," I said, laughing.
"Nice to meet y-"*CRASH*
The chandelier crumpled to the floor, sending glass and wax everywhere. The marble pillars that kept the roof up began to topple over, one by one. Something hit Gringotts, and we were inside. Witches and Wizards sprinted towards the exit, but were crushed by marble and stone. What about Dusk, Bubbleina, Stelth, Scott, and Sagittaria, who were all in the tunnels beneath us. The room went dark, followed by the roof crushing down on us...
