Scott's POV

Today, was the first Quidditch match of the Season. The team was ready, or at least I thought so. I shovelled pancakes and eggs into my mouth, trying to rush down to the pitch to get ready with the team. As I walked down to the pitch, I never really ever noticed how beautiful the castle is in the morning. The stone path down to the pitch was very old, so I had to watch my step to make sure I didn't tumble down the hill. I got into my gear and took a few laps around the pitch. Wind, and the fresh crisp morning air flew through my hair and at my face. The team arrived a few minutes later, so I drifted downwards on my broom until my feet landed firmly on the ground.
"Hey guys," I said, "we're all ready?"
"Aye, captain," Ellie said, grinning.
"Great, feel free to warm up a bit, just don't let the balls out of the trunk," I said. Ellie stretched on the field, and Bert and Mir practiced hitting a rock back and forth with their bats. Dayved, Rilianne, and Reggie swung around on their brooms and twisted around the pitch, defying gravity. Dayved landed with a thud, then sprinted up to me, "look who just arrived." I turned my head only to see the Slytherin team, "great, we better beat them," I said. Students and Hogwarts Staff were appearing at the pitch and climbing into the stands, getting ready for the match. This match would be one to remember, and I knew the Slytherin team would get smashed.
"Welcome to the first Quidditch match of the Season!" Magatha Gaunt said, holding her wand to her neck.
"Slytherin versus Gryffindor," she yelled, "let the match begin!"
We glided on our brooms to the starting position, then waited for the call of the whistle. Sinelius Nikolic whistled and released the balls, then threw the Quaffle into the air. The pitch went crazy, brooms were everywhere swerving and tumbling back and forth. Rilianne had control of the Quaffle, and was gliding towards the Slytherin ring at a daring speed.
"Remember what we talked about," I mumbled under my breath. Before she made it to the ring, she passed it off to Reggie who took a knuckle-smashing shot which went straight through the hoop.
"Ten points to Gryffindor!" Sagittaria said; winner of the Triwizard Tournament. I cheered, then smiled at Reggie. Selena Delacour had the Quaffle clutched in her hand but was body checked by Rilianne, which made her broom fly madly out of control. Rilianne passed the Quaffle to Dayved, who dodged several Slytherins then swooped in towards the ring. He took a shot but it ricocheted off the ring. Rilianne grabbed the Quaffle and went for a rebound which went slicing through the air and in the ring.
"Ten more points to Gryffindor!"
The Slytherin team began catching up, which made me nervous.

Kassie's POV

The score was now fifty to seventy, we were catching up. I circled the pitch, searching for the Snitch. There it was, glowing brightly in the sun. I zoomed and whizzed after it, then noticed Scott trailing me. I swooped back and forth trying to loose him, but he protruded forward. We were now side by side, bumping back and forth at each other. The Snitch went out of my view for a few seconds, then reappeared glimmering in the sunlight. Scott's hand reached out for the Snitch and grasped it. All of my pride fell out of me as soon I as I saw his hand.
"Scott Peverell has caught the Snitch! Gryffindor wins!"

Ellie's POV

The team was in the Gryffindor common room partying for our first win of the season. Dayved, Reggie and Rilianne sat in front of the crackling fire, talking about new broom moves. Scott was talking to Bert and Mir, because they got the whole Slytherin team angry by smashing a Bludger into Burnt's arm. I didn't want to be here. I wanted to be with Blake. I didn't know where he was in the castle, but I left the Common room to go out for a stroll. The castle was peaceful, and quiet. The moonlight shimmered through the panes of the glass windows, making each stone illuminate with a gloomy glow. I stepped down the marble stairs, down into the Entrance Hall. The Great Hall ceiling was enchanted with small flickering stars that dotted in patterns. The courtyard was dark, and the torches of the bridge and Great hall lit it up. I shook my hair out of my face; that's when I saw it. Blake and Rosie were together, sitting on the bench. Rosie was a Gryffindor in my year, probably the most popular girl. They split apart as soon as Blake saw me, "Oh-uh-Ell-" he started.
"Don't bother," I said, running away wiping my tears off my wet cheeks. Blake didn't even bother coming after me, and frankly I didn't care. He meant nothing after all that, and I swore I wouldn't talk to him ever again.
