Never in a million years did he ever think he and Namjoon would be on bad terms, but here they are.

Seokjin reluctantly went with his other brother and traitor of a best friend. He sat in the backseat as Jimin took the passenger side. A tense atmosphere filled the car as no words were spoken.

Namjoon was mad—no livid. His jaw clenched tight, and eyes narrowed in some angry haze as he drove. The younger has yet to see his brother this mad, well with him at least.

The vehicle comes to a stop as the older pulls up to a familiar building, Jimin's house.

"Thank you, Jimin," Namjoon mutters, and the male gives the older a tight-lipped smile before shifting his head to the backseat.

"Bye, Jinnie," Jimin spoke after some hesitation as he braces a tiny hopeful smile.

The younger scoffs and turns his attention back out the window. It's harsh, and he knows it, but betrayal hurts a hell of a lot more.

He didn't know what to think when he saw the picture of Namjoon and Jimin together. The thought that Jimin really went ahead and told his big brother. Just proves even more how much everyone treats him like a child. Some innocent thing to be protected from a monster like Jeongguk.

It's all bullshit, and he's done feeding into lies and rumors. For once, he's going to think for himself, no more listening to that he-said-she-said shit.

The smile off the male face fades. He says goodbye to Namjoon as the older mutters an apology, then Jimin leaves.

Seokjin can feel eyes on him, but he doesn't look up. He hears the older let out an airy laugh that sends chills down his spine and then the sound of a seat belt clicking.

The younger pulls his attention back towards the front of see Namjoon shifted over, staring right at him. His eyebrow raises, amused at the frightened look on Seokjin's face.

"Why do you have to act like this?" Namjoon questions, dark eyes dead set on him. He's serious and mad, so so mad.

The younger frowns, "Are you kidding me?" Seokjin asks, his eyes wide in disbelief. "I'm not the one who chased after someone and found their friend's address like a stalker!"

"You fucking ran away from home and wouldn't answer the phone, and now you're acting like a dick to your best friend," Namjoon says with a scoff. "Jimin is looking out for you just like everyone else."

"Looking out for me? Like I'm a child because that's all you'll ever see me as, right hyung?" the younger spits with narrowed eyes.

The older lets out another deep laugh, teeth biting into his bottom lip in aggravation. "Please don't start today, Seokjin. I don't like yelling at you, and I don't want to argue with you, baby, so please–"

"Argue? This is something you started, and you talk like everything is my fault!" The younger shouts with furrowed eyebrows.

He's not sure what's gotten into him lately. He's never the one to yell, let alone at his older brother, but he can't seem to stop the anger building up inside of him.

"You're really testing my fucking patience," Namjoon rasps out.

Seokjin crosses his arms against his chest as he lets out a huff. "And I'm only going to get worse," He says. His does eyes blink innocently as a mocking smile tug onto his face.

Namjoon bites the inside of his cheek as he lights out a deep sigh before turning his back to the younger. "I don't want to hear a word out of you when we get home. We'll talk tomorrow."

Just fucking great.
