"What's with the face?"

"This is just... A lot," Seokjin mutters with wide astonished eyes.

A lot was an understatement. He's never been in this type of environment, ever.

A room full of intoxicated people. Crowded sofas and corners as some tried to find a secluded spot.

People dancing, grinding against each other. Hookups happening right before his eyes, kissing each other before walking off upstairs or into a hopefully empty room.

A table lined with used solo cups and alcoholic drinks. All the while music blasted and the lights dimmed low, he could hardly see his own feet.

It was over stimulating to say the least.

Jeongguk lets out a laugh at the younger's expression and the way Seokjin's head whipped back and forth as he took it all in.

Seokjin feels a hand grab his. "C'mon, let's get you something to drink–"

"Jeongguk!" A feminine voice calls out over the music, and in a second the hand that held him is gone.

"You dick! You said you weren't coming," a girl says as she approaches the two.

"I never said that. I said maybe," Jeongguk's smile is wider than ever.

"Did you miss me?" The girl lips curve up into a smile as steps closer to older, and Seokjin's eyes flick between the two.

God, please don't say anything.

"I—"

"Hyung, I have to use the bathroom," the younger blurt out, swallowing back the dryness in his throat once he sees the girl's stare on him.

"Who's your friend?" She questions as she nods her head over at the younger.

Jeongguk whips his head over at Seokjin as if he completely forgot the younger was there at all.

"I'm Seokjin," he greets timidly as he offers a hand out.

The girl laughs and the smile on Seokjin's face quickly drops. "It's a party, not a business meeting babe. I'm Yeona," she says with a warm smile.

The boy let's out an embarrassed sigh as he lets his hand fall to his side. His brain will replay this moment in his mind over and over again all night.

"Sorry," he mutters sheepishly and she lets out another laugh.

"You're cute. Why are you hanging out with an asshole like him?" she snorts as he shoves Jeongguk's chest playfully and all he does is laugh.

It's clear they're close and now the younger can't help but wonder how many friends Jeongguk must really have.

"I'm not an asshole. He loves me," Jeongguk retorts as he hooks an arm over the younger's shoulder, pulling him close before placing his lips against Seokjin's ear. "Isn't that right dove?"

Seokjins heart races as his ears turn a bright red. He's lucky the lights are dim, he's sure Jeongguk would tease him for this.

Yeona grimaces, shaking her head. "Please don't tell me you actually like him?" she teases, stare pointed towards Seokjin.

Jeongguk frowns playfully, "Of course he does. Me and Seokjinnie here stick together!"

Yeona rolls her eyes, "Let's go. I need a drink!" She grumbles out, grabbing a hold of both the male's wrists, much to Seokjin's surprise. He was sure he would third wheel all night.

Jeongguk and Seokjin let her drag them to the kitchen, which was better lit than the room they were previously in. And when Yeona turns to them with beer bottles in hand, Seokjin can finally see her in a better light.
