"That petty little shit," Jeongguk scoffs as he stares at the post.
From the picture. To the caption. Seokjin is trying to get under his skin, and it's working.
There's just something about the younger male. Seokjin can push Jeongguk's buttons in a way no one has. He's interested. He loves all the little games Seokjin plays with that sweet innocent smile gracing his face.
"Who?" The girl beside him mumbles as she lays her head against his chest, her finger dragged along the man's tattooed skin with a content smile.
He can't even remember her name.
"Nobody," He murmurs, turning the device off and shoving the girl off him lightly. "You should go."
She pulls back with hurt eyes, "But--"
"But? I told you I don't do relationships if you were expecting more that's on you," Jeongguk snaps.
He should have known better to let her in.
They always want more than what he can give.
He doesn't do relationships. Never have and never will. It's too much to be vulnerable in such a way that strips him of all the control he has. It's too much to show a side of him, only to be let down again and again.
If his parents have taught him one thing, it's to not be feeble-minded and easily swayed by foolish and temporary things, such as relationships.
He's seen how his mother fell apart at the hands of his father. He knows things like that don't last forever.
He has himself, and only that what's so wrong in admitting it? What's so wrong with casual hookups if it's only by means of getting what he wants but still guarding his heart.
Jeongguk's always been honest, but in the end, he'll always be the bad guy of their story.
"Oh," the girl mumbles.
The younger let out a sigh, shaking his head. "I sound like a dick. I'm sorry. I'm just upset," he apologizes, and she turns back to him with a smile.
"Well, you could talk to me? About it?" She says, placing a hand over his. "Was it the guy?" She questions, head motioning over to the younger's phone.
Yeah... It is.
Jeongguk lets out a sigh and licks at his lips. "It's nothing you should concern about," he dismisses.
"Okay. Let me make you feel better then," the girl says with a giggle, placing a chaste kiss against his lips.
She pulls away with a shy smile before pressing kisses against his neck in an attempt to please the younger.
It'll never be good enough.
Relationships aren't his thing, but he just wants a taste of what it'd be like to be good in Seokjin's eyes for one day.
