Winter's pov:

I woke up to feeling two warm securing arms around my waist. They snaked around me so tightly it was as if it were to let go, I would never return. But it wasn't so tight where I couldn’t breathe.

I touched the forearms from this strong man. They were between soft and corse. When I looked down at them, I saw that they were bigger then my hands. That's when I remembered who's arms they belong to.

I stopped immediately, trying to figure out what world I'm on to even do that but yeah. I know I said I'd give him a chance, but he's still my kidnapper. It'll be a while before I even willingly hold his hand.

I turned my head to look at him, to see he was very much still asleep. Being this much closer to him, my eyes traveled from his head to his chin, taking it in his features. I saw a small scar on his head above his right eyebrow, small faded like freckles on his cheeks and nose and his light rosy pink lips. I don't know why I'm gawking at him. He's beautiful I'll give you that. But it's just, werid I guess. Giving my kidnapper a chance. I want to let him know, I don't want to move to fast. After my last relationship... I need slow.

I guess my staring woke him up, cause I felt him stir slightly, taking me out of my thoughts. I looked at him and saw his eyes move behind his eyelids. I turned my head back around before he could open his brown dark eyes.

I felt his eyes on the back of my head as I laid completely still, trying to make him believe I was still sleeping. He's smarter than I thought. Guess that's why he's called the "King".

"Mi amore, I know you're awake." He said softly.

I hummed in response not knowing what to say.

I felt myself breathe a little better when I felt him take his arm of my waist and moved my hair off my neck. He kissed my neck sending shivers down my warm body and causing my breath to hitch in my throat.

"Thank you," He whispered.

"For?" I frowned.

"For giving me a chance." He responded.

"I'm surprised you remembered." I said genuinely. He was pretty drunk last night.

"I'm a stupid drunk. But I remember it well the next day. The only thing I have to deal with, is the headache." He groaned, burying his head between the pillow and my neck.

For some reason, I felt safe in my kidnapper arms. Warm, being so close to him.

"Nic?"

"Yeah."

"Um. Can you let me go? I'll get you some medicine, but I need to get a shower too." I asked nervously, unsure of what he would say.

He didn't say anything. He held me a little longer and then slowly let go. When he did, I got up, stretched, and closed the curtains for him.

"Thanks," He whispered.

I didn't say anything and left. Only problem was... I didn't know where the medicine was. I didn't want to go back in and ask. So, I wondered to the living room where I found Bruno and a couple of other men with him.

"Hey, Bruno." I said, announcing my presence coming into the living room.

Bruno looked up and smiled. "Hey, sleepy head. Long night?"

I knew what he was implying, so I shook my head. "No. Not really. Nic got drunk and he needs medicine now."

Bruno dropped is shoulders but his smile didn't falter. "Oh boy. Okay. I'll get it."

"Thanks." He left to go get it, leaving me with the other two guys.

One of them, who was sitting on the couch playing a video game, had blonde curly hair and blue eyes. He wore casual clothes. Black shirt and dark blue jeans, with a gold chain that hung around his neck. It had a locket to it but I wasn't close enough to see what it said.
