Raiders of the Lost Art

    Time travel is real and all of history is vulnerable to the attack which is why we meowst travel through time to stop the spread of these so-called time aberrations and erase their damage to history. We are a team of outcasts and meowsfits, So please don't call us heroes. We're something else, we're Legends.

We all gathered into Sara's office as Nate explained about his findings, " Longinus is the name generally associated with the Roman centurion who pierced the side of Christ during the crucifixion"

"Yeah, he was blind and got the blood of Jesus in his eyes and he could see again" Jax chimed. We all looked at jax "What? I went to Sunday School"

Nate continued and explained that the medallion called for the magical spear and that the spear allegedly has the power to rewrite reality.

"But how's that different from us traveling through time and making changes to history," Ray asked, confused

"Changes to history cause time quakes and aberrations which we can undo, changes to reality, however, are permanent" Answered Nate.

"Great and I just handed over the medallion" Sara huffed as she fell back into the chair. I climbed into her lap and she petted my ears for comfort.

"Whoa in exchange for Grey's life" Jax said, "Any of us would have made that call"

"Would Rip?" She said as a somber atmosphere fell over the room.

"Gideon plot a course for the point of origin of the aberration" I heard Sara command gideon

"I already have, Captain. Hollywood, 1967"

I walked behind Sara and the others as we made our way to find Darhk and Merlyn's stolen motorcycle. "So what, we just going to walk around to see the sign that says, 'this way'?" Jax said impatiently.

"Good idea" Sara nodded at the sign that wrote. 'Legends, this way'.

I then jumped into Jax's shadow to hide myself as the legends followed the sign.

"Oh my god, it's Rip." Sara exclaimed as we watched Darhk and Merlyn's approach Rip.

"Don't worry, we got you, Rip" Ray walked up to the man. "Who the hell are you guys?" Rip said, panicked.

"We don't have time for this," Darhk said as he started shooting. As everybody swiftly went to fight, I moved to Rip's shadow as he ran away from the battle.

*Sirens* Sounds of sirens moved closer to us, Oh meow someone called the cops.

"OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD" I hear Rip's screams of panic as the officer arrests him.

I listened through the comms as Sara ordered the team to fall back, I stayed put in Rip's shadow. They should be able to track him and I with the tracker in my collar.

Rip was then escorted into an interrogation room, the man was filled with nervous energy as he bit his nails and bounced his legs anxiously. When the doors opened to Grey, Mick, and Sara.

I sighed in relief, "Astonishing, it's really you" the professor chimed.

"Yeah it's me, and who are you?" Rip answered.

"I'm your doctor, Mr Gasmer. I am here to take care of you"

"I've never laid eyes on you before in my life" Rip said

"Memory problems are part of the delusions, I'll have to admit him. He can't be treated here" The professor said to the officer accompanying them.

When Sara and Mick moved closer to him, Rip freaked out and shouted for help.

Sara silenced him with her hand, "Trust me, your name is Rip hunter"

"Rip hunter is a figment of my imagination, HELP!" he screamed again.

Sara nodded at Mick and Mick proceeded to knock the screaming man out. They quickly transferred him on to a wheelchair and wheeled him out, "We've got rip, we're headed to the extraction point"

"Sara you got incoming, Darhk and Merlyn just entered the precinct." We heard Nate over the comms, Sara ordered Ray to fly the ship over to the roof.

When we arrived at the roof, Rip woke up. He immediately started to panic as the waverider appeared in front of us and He fainted from shock. Before we could enter, an energy beam burned the ground next to Sara.

"Get to the ship, Go! " She shouted, We rushed to the ship carrying an unconscious Rip with us.

"Hey what's up" Ray walked into the library where Amaya and Nate had been researching for the last couple of hours. "Sara asked if we could find any physical descriptions of the spear that might help us find it, she thinks rip had it with him when he traveled to 1967"

"So far we only have a vague description, courtesy of Tama over here"

*Meow* I raised my paw towards the books that I had knocked off the shelfs.

Nate then reminded Ray that Sara wants him to figure out a way to reverse the effects of being in contact with the time drive.

Gideon pulled up a schematic of the time drive, Ray scoffed. "How do you expect me to understand any of that?"

"Maybe using one of your four Phds?" Amaya said scepticaly, "I don't have fou-" He stopped his train of thought when he realized that his memories were changing, Nate seemed to agree with Ray.

"Yeah I feel it too, I'm reading this book about 'santarion long inises' and it's just a bunch of words" Nate said.

"How long have you two been feeling like this?" Amaya asked.

"Film set" They said in unison.

I watch as they look through the things that they took from the film set, "Gideon, pull up Gorge Lucas on the historical record"

Apparently he's the one who's going to make the films that inspired Ray and Nate to be what they are. Huh, well we better fix them fast because we'll probably need them sooner or later, I said to myself.

But before that, *Yawn* It's nap time, all these human stuff is making me sleepy.

I made my way to my bed as I heard Sara say "because of some film geek, my historian and my inventor are essentially useless...."

I startled out of my sleep as Sara picked me up. Meow, what's with these people and picking me up when I'm asleep. "Cmon Tama, Darhk and Merlyn took Amaya, Nate, and Ray," She informed me as she ran to the cargo bay.

I launched off from the cargo bay, quickly sending a ball of shadow to stop Darhk from shooting the humans in the trash compactor. Nate steeled up and broke all of them out of the trash compactor. I made my way into George Lucas's shadow, ready to protect him if need be.

But then the speedster came to rescue Damien and Merlyn, "So who do we kill first?" He said with a sadistic smile.

"That would be me" We heard a voice from behind us, It's Rip!

"Captain hunter, it's been ages. I'm beginning to think that you were dead" The speedster addressed Rip

"On the contrary, in recent memory, I am finally, truly alive" He lifted the gun in his hand, pulling the trigger. *Click* the gun didn't shoot, He quickly broke character and commanded Gideon to shoot at the three bad guys.

Everybody fell back and ran to the waverider, but before Rip could enter he was taken by the speedster. "Rip! " Sara shouted, "leave him, he's gone" Jax pulled Sara in as the cargo bay hatch closed.

I walked in as Jax stepped out from the cargo bay. I moved closer to Sara, her head in her hands as she sat on a crate. I put my paws on her knees, "Oh hello Tama" She greeted me.

*Meow?* Are you okay?

"Yeah, I'm good," She said with a wry smile.

oh c'mon even I know that's not true.

I curled up into her lap, letting her pet me as I felt tears fall from above, wetting my fur.
