How will we be remembered? Will it be for saving the world twice? Nope. We're the team who broke time. That's right. History has been torn to shreds, which means it's up to us to put it back together again piece by piece, fixing these so-called Anachronisms before we get torn to shreds. So, please, don't call us heroes. We're Meowgends.

_____

I walked through the halls of the Waverider, giddy with excitement. It's Treat Tuesday! Rounding a corner, I was hit with a pungent smell. Ugh, meow, what is that?

"Sara, I've been searching for more outliers in the hopes of finding Darhk and his witchy friend," I heard Nate say as he jogged out of the library.

"You'd think having a supercomputer would be helpful," he muttered.

"Watch yourself, Mr. Heywood," Gideon warned him.

I approached them, weaving between their legs with a meow. Sara picked me up into her arms and scratched my chin, a welcome distraction from the stench.

"Anyways, there's no sign of them in the timeline," Nate continued his ramblings.

"What is that smell?" Sara scrunched her nose. Meow, yeah, you smell.

"Okay, full disclosure, I haven't left the library in seven days, I think. Is it Monday? I'm not really sure. It's hard for me to keep track of time in a temporal zone," he defended himself.

"It's Tuesday," I said, staring at him with a blank expression.

"Shower. Now," Sara ordered.

"Okay, I'll shower after I find Darhk. I know how much it means to you to find him," Nate said.

I hopped down from Sara's arms and headed to the kitchen, the voices of Nate and Sara fading as they walked toward the bridge. My attention shifted to the bone marrows sitting on the food fabricator. I licked my muzzle and flicked my tail from side to side. Treats!

______

"Attention, Legends. Captain Lance requests that all personnel report to the bridge immediately," Gideon's voice echoed through the Waverider. Amaya and Zari shot me a look of confusion. I just shrugged and dropped down from their bed to make my way to the bridge.

"What's going on?" Amaya asked as we entered the room.

"Well, we seem to have a bit of a 'Freaky Friday' situation," Ray said.

"I'm Jax," the professor said.

"And I'm Martin," Jax said.

"Cool," Zari shrugged, unbothered.

"Is this why we've been summoned?" Nyssa asked.

"No, actually. Tell them," Sara smacked Nate's shoulders to stop his laughter.

"1937, Hollywood, California. A beautiful woman mysteriously appeared and threw the entire film industry into chaos. She apparently was so beautiful that both Warner Brothers and K&G Pictures went to war over her, and it got ugly, fast. Literal backs were stabbed. People died," Nate explained.

"Those Hollywood idiots probably had it coming," Zari scoffed. "Maybe, but this wasn't supposed to happen. So we are going to fix it. It will be a nice, easy mission, and we'll get our mojo back," Sara said.

"Awesome, maybe now I might actually get to meet some celebrities," Jax said with an eye roll.

"And how would you even know? The oldest movie you've ever watched is some ridiculous farce called 'Police Academy,'" the professor quipped.

"Don't knock the Academy, Grey," Jax shook his head.

"Doesn't matter because you two are a liability like this, and you are staying on the ship," Sara said.
